Fashion Disaster: Meghan Markle’s Embarrassing Outfit Choice Leaves Harry Red-Faced

, the Duchess of Sussex, turned heads on the red carpet in New York with her stunning appearance.

However, it seems that her outfit choice left her husband, , feeling rather embarrassed.

The couple attended an event at the Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum to honor military veterans, where Harry was a special guest.

As Meghan gracefully glided across the red carpet, she wore a flowing long dress in a striking shade of red, perfectly complementing her radiant smile.

Holding hands with Harry, who looked dashing in a dinner jacket, bow tie, and military medals, the couple caught the attention of reporters and photographers.

One reporter on the red carpet couldn't help but ask Meghan if she was proud of .

With a warm smile, she replied, “I'm always proud of him.”

The event, known as the Salute to Freedom Gala, pays tribute to individuals in the military who have displayed extraordinary leadership and honors their contributions in defending their country.

Meghan's choice of attire for the evening was a bold red Carolina Herrera dress, paired with matching red shoes.

Her elegant high bun showcased her long locks, adding a touch of sophistication to her overall look.

The Carolina Herrera gown featured a plunging neckline, a bow at the back, and was accessorized with a ballerina-esque bun, cat-eye makeup, red pointy toe pumps, and a poppy pin.

For those unfamiliar with the significance of the poppy pin, it represents soldiers who have lost their lives during wartime in the UK.

This tradition dates back to World War I when John McRae wrote the poem “In Flanders Fields” following the loss of a friend in battle.

Today, many wear poppies in November as a symbol of remembrance.

Harry proudly displayed his military background with a line of four medals adorning his jacket.

He also wore the cross for Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order around his neck.

However, due to palace rules and his decision to relocate to the US, Harry was stripped of his titles, including the rank of Captain General of the Royal Marines, which reportedly left him particularly upset.

As they made their way along the red carpet, it was Harry who seemed more eager to engage in conversations.

Overheard asking one person, “Are you excited?”

he continued to charm those around him.

When a reporter inquired about his grandmother, II, Harry smiled and nodded before moving on.

Both Harry and Meghan wore poppies, as the event took place ahead of Veterans Day in the US and Remembrance Day in the UK.

Harry, in his role as a special guest, presented medals for the Intrepid Valour Awards to five service members, veterans, and military families who are living with the invisible wounds of war.

This event holds particular significance for Harry, given his own military background and his ongoing work with veterans, including the founding of the Invictus Games, a sporting event for wounded servicemen.

Since their move to the US, Harry and Meghan have dedicated their time to charity work and humanitarian initiatives.

This marks their second trip to New York this year, following their attendance at the Global Citizen Live concert in Manhattan in late September.

Recently, Harry has spoken out against the online trolling targeted at Meghan, particularly surrounding their decision to leave the UK, which became known as “Megxit.”

At the Wired's Rewired conference, Harry denounced the term as misogynistic, stating that it was created by a troll, amplified by royal correspondents, and eventually spread to mainstream media.
