WME Not Involved in Harry and Meghan’s Rebrand

and Meghan have come under fire for allegedly exploiting their royal connections in a recent website rebrand, with critics accusing them of resurrecting their heraldic coat of arms to play up their ties to the monarchy.

The emblem, which features prominently on Sussex.com, replacing the previous Archworld.com, was first unveiled following their 2018 wedding but had seen limited use until now.

Critics argue that its revival, four years after the couple's departure from royal duties, is a strategic move to circumvent II's ban on their Sussex Royal brand when they relocated to the United States.

Renowned war commentator Richard Fitzwilliams has criticized the couple's actions, labeling it as a loophole to effectively bring back Sussex Royal and capitalize on their royal status.

He expressed concerns that by exploiting these loopholes, and Meghan are causing significant damage to the royal family.

Fitzwilliams further questioned the couple's decision-making, particularly highlighting their financial ventures tied to their royal connections, such as the Netflix docuseries and Harry's book “Spare.”

Despite facing backlash, Meghan has been actively involved in designing the crest in collaboration with the College of Arms.

Symbolism within the coat of arms reflects Prince Harry's identity through the lion motif on the left side, while elements like sun rays and a pacific blue background represent Meghan's California roots.

The rebranded website also emphasizes their Montecito residence as the official office of Prince Harry and Meghan, further solidifying their ties to royalty.

Harry's biographer, Angela Levin, condemned the couple's actions, accusing them of profiting from their royal affiliations despite publicly denouncing such practices.

She highlighted the Queen's potential displeasure, as Prince Harry and Meghan had previously pledged not to exploit their titles, a promise they seem to have broken.

The absence of involvement from LA-based agency WME in the rebrand raises questions about Meghan's professional partnerships and potential rifts within the entertainment industry.

Speculations surrounding WME's decision to distance themselves from Meghan and Harry suggest a shift in the dynamics of their professional relationships.

Sources close to Meghan's new Hollywood representation indicate a commitment to refraining from baseless attacks on the royal family, signaling a possible redirection in their public statements.

However, concerns remain about the lasting impact of their past actions and the need for genuine accountability moving forward.

As Meghan reportedly seeks to redefine her public image and reestablish herself in the entertainment sphere, doubts linger about the sincerity of her efforts.

The challenges ahead extend beyond mere PR maneuvers, requiring a deeper reckoning with the consequences of their previous behavior.

Amidst ongoing controversies and personal transformations, the couple faces mounting pressure to address the repercussions of their actions and navigate a path toward reconciliation and authenticity.
