Title: Prince Harry and Meghan Settle into New Home in Santa Barbara as Poll Suggests No Royal Titles for Archie and Lilibet

and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, have found a new family home in Santa Barbara, California, after leaving their roles as senior members of the British royal family.

Previously staying at Tyler Perry's luxurious Beverly Hills mansion in Los Angeles, the couple has now settled into a peaceful and private community about 100 miles north of LA.

Their representative confirmed this, urging respect for their privacy and that of their neighbors.

Moving into their new residence in July, Harry and Meghan have embraced the quiet privacy of their surroundings.

They hope that their neighbors and the public will respect their desire for a peaceful family life.

Before settling in California, the couple briefly stayed in Vancouver as they embarked on their new journey.

In recent news, a poll conducted by Express.co.uk revealed that readers believe and Mountbatten-Windsor, the children of and , should not be granted royal titles.

The official titles of three-year-old Harrison and one-year-old Diana have been under scrutiny since the family's departure from royal life and relocation to California.

As grandchildren of the monarch, Archie and Lilibet would be eligible for prince and princess titles according to the 1917 letters patent issued by King George V. However, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who stepped back from their royal duties in 2020, decided that their children would be known simply by their surname, Mountbatten-Windsor.

During the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebration, Harry and Meghan returned to the UK as a family for the first time since 2020.

Express.co.uk conducted a poll asking readers if they believed Archie and Lilibet deserved royal titles.

Out of 24,501 respondents, an overwhelming 95% (23,221 people) voted against granting the titles, while only 5% (1,136 people) were in favor, and less than 1% (144 people) were unsure.

The poll sparked a strong reaction among readers, with many expressing their disapproval of the Duke and Duchess's actions.

Some readers pointed out that Harry chose to leave his royal role, which includes his offspring, while others simply stated a resounding “no” to the idea of royal titles for the children.

One reader, Puffer, commented, “No offense to the two little ones because they are innocent children, but no, they shouldn't be given royal titles.

Two children in California with no connection to Britain or the royal family have no need for British royal titles.

They are never going to be senior royals, and they are unlikely to even be spending much of their lives in Britain.”

It is worth noting that when Lilibet was born in 2021, Meghan dropped her HRH title from her birth certificate, while Harry retained his.

The birth certificate revealed that Megan used her birth name, Rachel Megan Markle, instead of her title.

Harry, on the other hand, included his HRH title as part of his name on the birth certificate.

For the birth of their son, Archie, before their departure from royal duties, both Harry and Meghan used their HRH titles on the birth certificate.

Although they are no longer referred to as HRHs, the couple retained their Duke and Duchess titles when they separated from royal life.

Meghan used the name “Megan, Duchess of Sussex” as the author of her debut children's book, “The Bench,” published last year.

As Prince Harry and Meghan settle into their new home in Santa Barbara, it remains clear that the public sentiment leans towards not granting royal titles to their children, Archie and Lilibet.

The couple continues to carve out their own path, embracing a life away from the traditional royal spotlight.
