Title: Prime Minister Rishi Sunak Playfully Pokes Fun at Prince Harry in Christmas Video
In a lighthearted Christmas video, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has playfully teased Prince Harry, as observed by some Brits on social media.
The video, filmed in Downing Street, shows Sunak alone in Number 10, meticulously writing letters.
However, realizing he is the only one present, the PM decides to have some fun.
He jokingly knocks over a set of Coca-Cola cans while practicing his cricket bowling technique.
Later, Sunak shows affection towards Larry the Cat, even sharing a kiss with the feline, before adding the finishing touches to his Christmas tree.
Finally, the Prime Minister settles down to enjoy a plate of fish and chips while watching the film Elf.
Amidst the festive ambiance, Sunak's attention is diverted by the ringing phone in Downing Street's press office.
He promptly answers the call and humorously informs the caller, Harry, that they have dialed the wrong number.
Speculation among fans suggests that this playful jest is a subtle reference to the Sussexes being excluded from the invite list for the Royal Christmas at Sandringham.
One social media user playfully remarked, “Even Rishi, the UK's Prime Minister, roasts Prince Harry.”
Another commented, “Harry's absolutely done when the PM feels comfortable making him the punchline of a joke with global reach.
Meghan would be a joke to pretend she's royal.”
Leading up to Christmas, it was revealed that Prince Harry had reached out to King Charles in an attempt to mend strained relationships.
The hope was that this gesture would pave the way for both Harry and Meghan to be welcomed back for the holiday festivities.
This year's Christmas gathering at Sandringham boasted one of the most extensive guest lists ever, with notable attendees including Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, who received an invitation after more than three decades.
She was seen walking to St Mary Magdalene Church on the Norfolk estate, accompanied by her ex-husband, Prince Andrew.
Prince Harry's emotions may be running high, as he is still deeply hurt after being portrayed as a laughingstock in an episode of South Park.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have faced numerous challenges this year, but one of their biggest setbacks was being called out on South Park.
The show's portrayal and mockery cut deep, with Insider reporting that Meghan was particularly hurt by a recent dig from the Hollywood Reporter, labeling them as “the biggest losers of 2023,” given the magazine's significant credibility.
Furthermore, Harry and Meghan's non-profit organization allegedly experienced an $11 million drop in donations.
While they received $2 million in charitable contributions in 2022, the figure dropped to close to $13 million in 2021.
According to an insider, the couple is determined to dispute these figures, refusing to let the negativity prevail.
Adding to their woes, Meghan was mentioned during a recent episode of Saturday Night Live.
A Christmas photo released by the Royal Family featured a poorly photoshopped image where Prince Louis's finger appeared to be missing.
In response, Colin Jost humorously commented during the program's Weekend Update segment, “This is sweet, Meghan Markle said she has a finger they can use if they need it.”
