Title: Meghan Markle’s Father Claims Ignored Birthday Gesture and Seeks Legal Access to Grandchildren
Thomas Markle, the Emmy Award-winning lighting director and father of Meghan Markle, has expressed his disappointment as he claims that his sweet birthday gesture to his daughter has been ignored.
The 77-year-old, who has had a fractured relationship with the Duchess of Sussex, sent Meghan a bouquet of roses to commemorate her landmark 40th birthday.
The bouquet featured a dozen red roses, with two yellow roses in the middle symbolizing Meghan and Prince Harry's two children, Archie and Lilibet.
However, Thomas alleges that he has not received any thanks from Meghan and has been denied access to his grandchildren.
According to TMZ, Thomas sent the flowers along with a personalized card simply wishing Meghan a happy birthday and brighter days.
He wanted to incorporate his grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet, into the flower arrangement as he believes they do not have enough family around them in Montecito.
Frustrated by the lack of contact, Thomas is reportedly considering legal action to gain access to his grandchildren, whom he has yet to meet.
In a recent interview with Fox News, Thomas expressed his intention to seek legal support to meet his grandchildren, emphasizing that Archie and Lilibet should not be punished for Meghan and Harry's actions.
He argued that the children are not involved in politics or games and deserve the same rights as any other royal.
Thomas also criticized Prince Harry for his plans to release an autobiography, questioning what more he could possibly reveal after multiple sessions with psychiatrists and interviews, including one with Oprah Winfrey.
Apart from the family drama, Meghan Markle's romantic history has also drawn attention.
Before finding love with Prince Harry, Meghan had a list of previous boyfriends.
She dated Corey Vitiello, Rory Mallory, Michael Del Zotto, and Trevor Endleson.
Meghan was briefly married to Trevor before they divorced due to irreconcilable differences.
Her last known relationship before Harry was with top chef Corey Vitiello, whom she dated for three years.
Meghan and Corey met at one of his luxury cafes in Toronto, where they lived together.
Additionally, Meghan had a six-year relationship with director Trevor Endleson, culminating in a lavish seaside wedding in the Caribbean in September 2011.
However, their marriage could not withstand the strain of a long-distance relationship, as Meghan had to travel to Toronto for work while Trevor remained in America.
The couple eventually divorced after two years of marriage in 2013.
There were also rumors of a romance between Meghan and British professional golfer Rory McIlroy before she met Prince Harry.
The pair participated in a joint social media challenge, the Ice Bucket Challenge, in 2014.
Meghan accepted Rory's nomination and threw a bucket of water over her head.
They were later spotted enjoying a meal together in Dublin, sparking speculation about their relationship.
However, both Meghan and Rory dismissed the dating rumors and confirmed that they were just friends.
While Thomas Markle continues to seek legal access to his grandchildren, Meghan Markle's past relationships serve as a reminder of the journey that led her to find love and happiness with Prince Harry.
As the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan has now settled into a new chapter of her life, focusing on her family and various philanthropic endeavors.
