Title: Controversy Surrounds Meghan and Harry’s Visit to Public School 123
In a shocking revelation, the Department of Education has exposed Megan for allegedly exploiting $2,000 from 409 poor students at Public School 123.
The school, which was featured in a Netflix series, became the center of attention when aides of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were accused of silencing staff and pupils.
During their visit to New York City in 2021, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle visited Public School 123, known to be one of the poorest schools in the area.
However, it has come to light that the school was asked to sign a clause that would prevent anyone from making negative comments about the royal couple's visit.
This accusation has raised eyebrows, as it is believed to be an attempt to control the narrative surrounding their £80 million Netflix docuseries.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex generously donated two garden boxes filled with vegetables and herbs to the school during their visit.
However, some parents later claimed that the fruits and vegetables were mostly rotten and unusable.
Meghan's side defended the situation, attributing it to the shipping process and stating that the Duke could not guarantee the condition of all charity items.
However, critics argue that there are plenty of places nearby where fresh produce could have been purchased.
During the visit, Meghan, dressed in an outfit worth tens of thousands of dollars, read from her children's book, “The Bench,” which was published in June 2021.
Following the visit, school authorities were allegedly instructed not to share any negative comments about the visit on social media, both at the time and in the future.
This directive has sparked criticism, as Meghan's purpose should have been to support and help underprivileged children, rather than using the visit as a promotional opportunity for her book.
Angry parents have voiced their concerns, claiming that Meghan asked the children for five dollars each to make a small donation to a charity.
This act has been labeled as exploitation by Natasha Jackson, one of the parents.
The school had initially requested parents to donate five dollars without specifying the purpose, but it was later revealed that the money was intended for the couple's charity foundation, which was not mentioned in the initial letter.
The controversy doesn't end there.
Archwell representatives, associated with Meghan and Harry, allegedly emailed the Department of Education, including a gagging clause in the appearance release, and asked for legal approval.
In addition, New York City Schools press secretary Daniela Filson reportedly requested that the press release about the visit avoid mentioning Meghan's book, as it appeared too promotional.
Furthermore, the couple's team banned four British newspapers from attending an event at the World Trade Center.
Emails have also surfaced, revealing the planning of the school trip, during which Meghan wore a suit worth five thousand pounds and accessorized with Cartier items, six months before the actual visit took place.
The controversy surrounding Meghan and Harry's visit to Public School 123 has sparked outrage among parents and the public alike.
The exploitation of funds and the alleged attempts to control the narrative have tarnished the goodwill associated with the royal couple.
As this story unfolds, many are left questioning the true intentions behind their actions and whether their support for underprivileged children is genuine or merely a PR opportunity.
