Thomas Markle Expresses Concerns Over Meghan’s Absence at King Charles’ Coronation
Thomas Markle, the father of Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, has shared his thoughts on Meghan's absence at the coronation of King Charles.
In an interview with the Mail on Sunday, Markle stated that it was ultimately for the best that Meghan stayed at home.
He believes that there are too many disagreements between Meghan, Prince Harry, and the royal family, making her absence a wise decision.
Markle also revealed some surprising details about Meghan's birth process during a recent interview with P. Dina.
When asked if Meghan had ever experienced concerns about having children, Markle disclosed that she had frozen her eggs with the intention of returning to retrieve them.
He assumes that this is what happened before Archie's birth.
The timing of Harry and Meghan's trip to Canada in November, followed by the announcement of Lilibet's pregnancy in February, aligns with rumors of a fertility clinic visit in Canada.
Supporting this claim, Samantha, Meghan's half-sister, previously stated that their father, Thomas Markle, confirmed the pick-up of frozen eggs in Los Angeles in July, approximately nine months before Archie's alleged birth.
Samantha also suggested that a surrogate mother might have been involved, based on evidence she had seen.
While there is no issue with surrogacy or IVF, Samantha criticized Meghan for lying about it.
She emphasized that deceiving the public is one thing, but misleading the monarch and the inner circle regarding matters of succession is another, as it interferes with the legal line of succession and its implications.
Lady C, a well-connected individual familiar with the law, has referred to Meghan's potential use of surrogacy as “meganancy” or “meganant.”
Although Lady C can be dramatic at times, her knowledge of the law, gained through her experience working in her brother's law firm, lends credibility to her claims.
Having faced defamation lawsuits against the media herself, Lady C understands the boundaries of what can be said or implied.
Therefore, her mention of surrogacy suggests that there may be some truth to the allegations.
In another development, Mr. Markle revealed in an interview with Australian news program Seven News Spotlight that Meghan has not contacted him for four years.
He expressed disappointment, particularly in light of his recent severe stroke.
Markle questioned what it would take for his daughter to reach out, stating that if a stroke does not move her, he is unsure what will.
Meghan's relationship with her father has been strained for some time, reaching a breaking point in 2018 when he collaborated with paparazzi to stage photos before her wedding to Prince Harry.
Meghan addressed this strained relationship in the Netflix documentary “Harry and Meghan,” which premiered earlier this year.
While Meghan's absence at King Charles' coronation may have been met with mixed reactions, Thomas Markle believes it was the best decision given the current disagreements between Meghan, Harry, and the royal family.
