As a result, Prince Louis and his brothers, being born as great-grandchildren of a king, were not entitled to the title under the previous regulation.

However, the Queen intervened and ensured that Prince George would receive a title, extending the change to all of Kate and William's children.

It is important to note that this alteration did not affect other members of the royal family.
