Carol Middleton, the mother of Princess Catherine, made a glamorous appearance at the wedding of Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan, and she was not alone.

Accompanied by her stylish sister, Pippa, and brother-in-law, James Matthews, Carol attended this dazzling affair held at the majestic Zahran Palace.

Together, they witnessed the union of Crown Prince Hussein and his bride, Rajwa al-Sarif, in a celebration that left us all in awe.

I had no idea the Wales's extended family on Catherine's side were invited.

Indeed, the Middletons were not the only familiar faces in the crowd.

They were joined by world leaders, kings and queens, and even the fabulous Jill Biden, the First Lady of the United States.

Crown Prince Hussein, a Sandhurst-educated captain of the Jordanian Armed Forces, stood tall in his military uniform, complete with a gold-hilted sabre.

With pride and joy, King Abdullah II and Queen Rainier of Jordan watched as their son exchanged vows with Rajwa in a picturesque gazebo nestled in the palace garden.

The ceremony, known as a Katba-Katab, was conducted by the esteemed Royal Hashmat, Court Iman, Dr. Ahmed Al-Khalali.

Love was truly in the air.

As the newlyweds made their way through the capital in a white custom Range Rover, accompanied by a fleet of bright red Land Rovers, motorcycles, and a military marching band, the streets were filled with adoring crowds.

This was a wedding fit for a prince and his princess.

The attendance of the Middletons, along with the surprise appearance of and her husband, Eduardo, added an extra dash of intrigue to the event.

And let's not forget about the lovely Catherine, who graced the occasion in a blush pink lace dress by Elie Saab, a nod to her time spent living in Amman during her childhood.
