Sweet Bond: Prince William’s Cousin and Husband Share Special Connection with Royal Children

It's no secret that family ties run deep, no matter where you fall in the line of succession.

The Prince and Princess of Wales, along with their children, have always been captured looking gloriously happy when seen with William's cousin, Zara Tindall, and her husband, Mike.

Former rugby star Mike recently revealed that the quartet embodies everything you'd expect from a typical family, even having their own family WhatsApp group, which he admitted to making full use of.

And it's clear that Mike has formed a sweet bond with his nieces and nephews.

Who could forget the adorable antics between Mike and Prince Louis at the Platinum Jubilee?

Although photos of this fab four and their offspring are rare, such outings are not.

They have long shared a close bond, and it seems they also share a similar future.

Mike opened up about future playdates with the Wales children and his own daughters, Mia and Lena.

“They're all quite close in age, and hopefully, they'll grow up as good friends,” he said.

“I'm sure the children will bump heads at some point, but I think it will be a little while yet.

Well, let them get settled into their new home and the babies settle into the world before everyone jumps on them.

So sweet.”

After an incredibly busy few months of ceremonies and official appearances, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis are now enjoying the first few days of their summer holidays.

Based on their previous school breaks and revelations by the couple themselves, it seems that the family of five will have some exciting plans.

If they don't go abroad, then it will probably be a usual mix of Norfolk and Windsor life, filled with outdoor play, sports, and various fun activities.

William and Catherine have had a very busy time with the coronation and their new responsibilities as Prince and Princess of Wales, and they probably feel like they are due for a bit of rest and relaxation.

This summer, the Wales family might be heading to the Isle of Sicily.

Not only are William and Kate familiar with this idyllic, privately-owned island, but Tresco Island is owned by King Charles and Queen Camilla.

This means that George, Charlotte, and Louis could even enjoy a trip away with their grandparents.

The beautiful property is open to the public for booking, but it has long been a favorite destination for the royal family due to its privacy.

Meanwhile, the Tindalls recently had a family fun day, following a date night to celebrate their upcoming 12th wedding anniversary on July 30th.

Mike shared that his kids, Mia and Lena, are following in his and their mother's sporty footsteps.

Both of them go to Mission Compton Rugby Club on Sundays, despite being just nine and four years old.

“We gotta give them a bit of time before the pressure comes on, but they love all sports and they play rugby as well,” Mike revealed.

Looking back at some heartwarming moments, in 2015, George and Mia were spotted hugging each other at a polo match in Tetbury.

Kate even matched her young niece by wearing a striped top.

Another fabulous moment occurred in 2012 when Kate enthusiastically waved at Zara as she watched her win a silver medal in the eventing team jumping equestrian final.

Prince William also looked elated as he cheered on his cousin.
