Suits Exec Reveals Megan’s Departure Before Dating Prince Harry

The popular television series, Suits, has been making headlines for breaking Nielsen's streaming viewing records.

Surprisingly, it is Megan, a supporting actress for seven out of nine seasons, who has garnered more attention than the lead actors in numerous Puff PR articles and social media posts by entertainment industry outlets.

However, Jean Klein, a non-writing producer throughout the show's nine-season run, did not mention the Duchess of Sussex when discussing the factors contributing to its success.

Despite this, TVLine.com reported that Suits currently ranks among the top shows globally according to the Nielsen streaming chart.

During an interview, Klein expressed his surprise at the show's continued popularity.

He stated, “I obviously had a sense when I found out it was coming to Netflix that it would probably get another burst of viewing and that kind of thing, but I didn't think this would happen.”

He further added that as long as viewers keep watching, the show will continue to thrive.

When asked about the reasons behind its enduring popularity, Klein pointed out two factors: the show itself and the influence of the platform it is streamed on.

Interestingly, it has been reported that 's character was written out of the next season of Suits even before she met .

This information has been confirmed by friends, family, and cast members of the show.

Series creator Aaron Kors revealed that he made the decision to write her off a year ago, knowing that her relationship with was blossoming.

Kors explained, “I knew from a year ago that this relationship was burgeoning and I had a decision to make because I didn't want to intrude and ask her, hey, what's going on and what are you going to do?”

Consequently, the creators collectively decided to give her character a natural exit by having Rachel Zane marry Mike Ross, played by Patrick J. Adams, and move to Seattle to open a legal clinic.

Adams also left the series at the same time.

It is worth noting that Meghan was not dating Prince Harry at the time of her departure from Suits.

In fact, she had not even met him.

This fact was confirmed by Piers Morgan, who attended Harry and Meghan's wedding.

While Suits cast members were invited to the church ceremony, they did not receive invitations to the evening reception.

Instead, they had a karaoke session in London.

The limited number of guests allowed for the evening event meant that many others, including some of Harry's oldest friends, were also not invited.

Notably, none of Meghan's family members attended, but George and Amal Clooney did.

George Clooney later admitted that he did not know Meghan very well.

In conclusion, Megan's departure from Suits was planned before her relationship with Prince Harry began.

The show continues to attract a significant viewership, and its popularity can be attributed to both its compelling content and the platform on which it is streamed.

Despite her absence from the series, Meghan's connection to Suits remains a topic of interest among fans and media outlets alike.
