Sharp Queen Kicks Harry Out of Monarchy with a Nod to Future Kings

II has sent a clear message that the monarchy is in safe hands by hinting at her approval of future kings in a revealing Twitter post.

The annual Chelsea Flower Show holds a special place in the Queen's heart, as she is often seen captivated by the new flowers on display.

Now, Her Majesty has given a significant nod to future kings, likely including Prince Charles and his eldest son, , through a tweet about the flower show.

The official royal family Twitter account posted, “Members of the royal family have been attending #RHSChelsea for almost 100 years.

King George V and Queen Mary in 1930.

Her Majesty in 1971.

The Queen and the Prince of Wales in 2002.

The Queen with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in 2019.”

Accompanying this message were four pictures, each representing a visit to the annual flower show by members of the royal family.

In February 2021, Buckingham Palace confirmed that and his wife, Meghan, will not be resuming their royal duties.

This decision finalizes the couple's split from the royal family, as they will also relinquish their honorary military titles.

When Harry and Meghan stepped away from full-time royal life in March 2020, citing media scrutiny and the constraints of their roles, it was agreed that their situation would be reviewed after a year.

Now, the palace has announced that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will not be returning as working members of the royal family.

According to a statement from the palace, II spoke with 36-year-old Harry and acknowledged that stepping away from their royal duties makes it impossible to continue with the responsibilities and obligations that come with a life of public service.

As a result, Harry's appointment as Captain General of the Royal Marines and his titles with other military groups will revert to the Queen before being redistributed among other family members.

Meghan, 39, will also lose her role as patron of Britain's National Theatre and the Association of Commonwealth Universities.

The couple no longer use the title Royal Highness and do not receive public funds for their work.

However, it was unclear at the time if these decisions would remain in effect.

This Twitter post from the Queen comes at a time when she is unable to attend the Chelsea Flower Show for only the third time during her nearly 70-year reign as monarch.

The event, which typically occurs in May, was delayed due to Covid restrictions earlier this year.

Traditionally, the Queen spends her summer break at her Balmoral residence in Scotland from August to October.

However, Her Majesty is not expected to resume engagements in London until next month, as stated in her official diary.

On October 2, she will be joined by Prince Charles and , Duchess of Cornwall, in Scotland for the opening ceremony of the sixth session of the Scottish Parliament.

Shortly after, the monarch is set to return to Buckingham Palace to launch the Queen's Baton Relay for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.
