Serena Williams Recovers Stolen Diamond Earrings, Ends Friendship with Meghan Markle

Renowned tennis player Serena Williams has refuted claims made by Meghan Markle, stating that they were merely acquaintances and not close friends.

Vanity Fair writer Summer Kashiner, who had previously received a list of Williams' friends during an interview, contacted the tennis star to confirm her friendship with Meghan, but Williams denied any such connection.

In fact, Williams went as far as calling Meghan an acquaintance and emphasized the importance of being true to oneself, saying, “You've got to be who you are, Meghan, you can't hide.”

Although they were once considered close friends, their relationship deteriorated due to several factors, leading Serena to completely disassociate herself from Meghan after their fallout.

Adding fuel to the fire, rumors circulated that Meghan had been flirting with Serena's husband.

A source from their circle of friends revealed that Meghan had even acquired a pair of Serena's earrings without paying for them.

Meghan Markle made quite a stylish appearance at the 2022 Invictus Games in the Netherlands, donning a classic black tweed jacket, jeans, and diamond earrings from Serena Williams' jewelry line.

This exclusive style was purchased by Meghan while she and Serena were still best friends.

However, Meghan's habit of acquiring items without payment forced her to return to Serena to retrieve the earrings.

Many have criticized Meghan's actions, labeling her a thief.

The Serena Williams Jewelry line includes the highly sought-after $179 Diamond Starburst Stud Earrings, which perfectly complemented Meghan's outfit.

Another popular item, the star-shaped earrings from Serena's collection, is now back in stock.

Serena's jewelry line also features a goat necklace, inspired by her status as a tennis champion.

The earrings are crafted from 10k white gold and adorned with 1-10 carats of paved diamonds.

Reports suggest that Meghan and Serena first met at a Super Bowl party in 2010.

Their paths crossed again in February 2014 when they teamed up for a game of flag football at a Direct TV celebrity beach ball event.

However, when Serena tied the knot with Alexis Ohanian in November 2017, Prince Harry and Meghan were notably absent from the wedding.
