Royals’ Morning Brew: Do They Drink Coffee?
It’s no secret that the Princess of Wales, Catherine, and the royal family have a fondness for tea, a quintessentially British drink.
But what about coffee?
Many people rely on a caffeinated brew to kickstart their mornings, and with busy schedules and children to tend to, we can’t help but wonder if royals like Catherine and William also indulge in a good cup of joe from time to time.
Surprisingly, it turns out that Catherine does occasionally turn to coffee in the morning.
Recently, she was spotted grabbing a takeaway coffee from Starbucks, and according to a source, it was a decaf latte.
It seems she used to be quite the fan of a steamy mug of coffee, as she even paid for her order with a Starbucks loyalty card.
Catherine is known for recycling her favorite pieces of clothing, and her latest look was a blast from the past.
She donned a brown Darwin jacket by Elk Binet, a piece she has had in her closet since 2011.
Underneath, she wore her trusty Holland Cooper Fair Isle turtleneck sweater.
As for the Queen, it is unclear whether coffee is served in the royal household.
However, it is widely known that her drink of choice in the morning is a good cup of tea.
Former royal butler Grant Harold has revealed that the late monarch favored Assam and Earl Grey teas, and she always pours the tea in first if she adds milk.
After their royal wedding at Buckingham Palace, William and Catherine treated their guests to traditional hot drinks during their wedding breakfast.
Alongside a delightful trio of Berkshire honey ice cream, sherry trifle, and chocolate parfait, coffee and fresh mint tea were also provided.
We can only wonder what the Prince of Wales opted for.
While Princess Catherine has attended several coffee mornings during her royal outings, it is unclear if coffee continues to be a part of her daily diet.
Despite her affinity for Starbucks, it seems that she doesn’t necessarily rely on coffee for an energy boost.
The Princess of Wales is known for always looking fabulous, and her seemingly ageless radiance has left many royal fans in awe.
She is also quite the fitness enthusiast, regularly going for runs and playing tennis with her children.
So, what’s her secret?
According to a Royal Insider, Catherine starts her day with a nutrient-rich smoothie.
Her recipe includes kale, spirulina (a type of algae), matcha, green tea leaves, spinach, romaine lettuce, cilantro or coriander leaves, and blueberries.
This healthy morning drink is packed with antioxidants that combat free radical damage and give the skin a natural glow.
Intrigued by the prospect of achieving the royal glow, I decided to try Catherine’s Skin Boosting Green Smoothie for a month.
After consulting with Jennifer for guidance, I gathered the ingredients and committed to the daily ritual.
The smoothie is loaded with superfoods rich in iron, potassium, vitamins A and C, fiber, and phytonutrients, all proven to keep energy levels high.
After just one week of consuming the green blend, I noticed that waking up became surprisingly easier, and I even found the motivation to squeeze in pre-work gym sessions.
Fast forward to 30 days of smoothie consumption, and my skin was literally glowing.
Pigmentation had minimized, breakouts were non-existent, and I received numerous compliments on the healthiness of my skin when going makeup-free.
Although the taste of whipped coriander and spirulina proved challenging at first, an expert suggested adding collagen powder to enhance the flavor and enjoy the added glow benefits.
So, while the royals may have their preferences when it comes to beverages, whether it’s coffee or tea, one thing is clear – they prioritize their well-being and radiance, both inside and out.
