Royal Siblings to Shine at Trooping the Colour Event

The royal trio, George, Charlotte, and Louis, are anticipated to grace the upcoming Trooping the Colour event.

Notably, Princess Kate is unlikely to attend this year's celebration.

Scheduled for Saturday, June 15, the event may witness the presence of Prince George, aged 10, Princess Charlotte, aged 8, and Prince Louis, aged 6.

Renowned royal expert Marlene Koenig, the author of Royal Musings, shared insights with Daily Express US, suggesting that King Charles and Queen Camilla are expected to make a grand entrance in a carriage.

This presents a perfect opportunity for the young Welsh royals to partake in the festive occasion.

Ms. Koenig expressed her anticipation, stating, “I have this lovely little feeling that perhaps the King and Queen and the three grandchildren will be in the carriage.”

She further added, “Usually it was just Mom, Camilla, and the three kids, but because Catherine is probably not going to be at Trooping, it looks like the kids will be with their grandparents, which is adorable and really thoughtful.”

Speculation arises as Charles has hinted at his desire to ride a horse during Trooping the Colour, also known as the King's Birthday Parade.

However, concerns regarding the high summer temperatures cast doubt on the feasibility of this plan.

Ms. Koenig shed light on the decision-making process, emphasizing its day-to-day nature, especially in light of the King's recovery from cancer.

She expressed skepticism about Charles riding a horse this year, citing the likelihood of royal doctors advising against it.

With the upcoming general election scheduled for July 4, the royal family is expected to enjoy a relatively calm six-week period.

Despite this, Ms. Koenig affirmed that Trooping the Colour will proceed as planned under the oversight of the Ministry of Defence.
