**Royal Residences: Princess Kate and Pippa Middleton’s Luxurious Neighboring Estates**
Princess Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, has been spotted living in close proximity to her sister, Pippa Middleton, in a lavish property worth £15 million.
Pippa Middleton, known as the sister of Princess Kate, resides in the same county as her royal sibling, just a stone’s throw away from their parents.
Living in an extravagant Georgian building, Pippa, alongside her husband James Matthews, an investment banker, and their three children – Arthur, Grace, and Rose, enjoy the opulence of their 30-bedroom estate, which also boasts a walled garden and river access, as reported by Eden Confidential from the Daily Mail.
The Matthews family’s estate, sprawling across 150 acres, stands as a testament to luxury living, contrasting with Princess Kate’s more modest four-bedroom house situated in the Windsor Home Park estate.
Notably, Pippa’s parents, Carol and Michael Middleton, have their abode at the Grade U-listed Bucklebury Manor in Berkshire, just a brief 20-minute car ride away from their daughter’s grand residence.
Recent planning documents revealed by Eden Confidential indicate that Pippa and James Matthews have expressed interest in expanding their already impressive property.
Their proposed plans include the addition of a tennis court and a swimming pool, necessitating the removal of a section of the walled garden.
However, obtaining planning clearance is crucial, given the estate’s location within an area renowned for its natural beauty.
The envisioned enhancements also encompass converting a potting shed into changing quarters and laying down artificial turf on the tennis court to enable year-round family tennis matches.
It was disclosed that the Matthews acquired the property through an off-market transaction in 2021, following the sale of their Chelsea home, fetching a substantial profit of £5.5 million after selling for £22.5 million.
Mr. Matthews, who made the purchase back in 2014, described the property as having six bedrooms, a movie room, a fitness center, a lift, and accommodations for staff.
Subsequent to their acquisition, the Matthews tailored the estate to their preferences by incorporating a nursery and separate dressing rooms for themselves.
Both Princess Kate and Pippa, along with their brother James Middleton, spent their childhood at Oak Acre, a residence where the Middleton family resided.
Similarly, Kate and Pippa’s connection to Berkshire remains strong, with the Duchess having lived at Oak Acre, a five-bedroom dwelling, until the age of 13.
