A royal photographer recently disclosed the difficulties he encountered while capturing the memorable moments of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's wedding.

In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Arthur Edwards shared his candid thoughts about the event that took place six years ago, describing it as a rather somber occasion for him.

“Today was a miserable day,” Edwards expressed to the interviewer, reflecting on what he now considers to be the most challenging royal wedding he has ever covered.

I had an 800mm lens to photograph the guests arriving,” he explained.

Edwards recounted how the carriage swiftly passed by, depriving him of the ideal shot.

“Then the carriage opened fire as they passed me in the carriage and looked the other way,” he recalled, emphasizing the missed opportunities in documenting the significant event.

The interviewer probed further, questioning whether these hindrances were intentional, to which Edwards responded, “I felt it.

It wasn't just me.

It was the whole British press, and I was treated badly in many respects.”
