Royal Family Reunion at Balmoral: King Charles III Excludes Harry and Meghan from Summer Retreat

In mid-August, the Balmoral estate will once again open its doors to host the royal family for their annual summer vacation.

Continuing 's long-standing tradition, King Charles III and Queen have extended invitations to most members of the family, with the exception of and Meghan Markle.

The Daily Mail reports that the guest list includes Prince William, Princess Kate, Princess Beatrice, , , Duchess Sophie, and even .

Notably, all of the late Queen's grandchildren will be in attendance, except for and Meghan.

The Palace Insider has revealed an exciting addition to this year's gathering – Princess Eugenie's baby son, Ernest, will make his royal debut during this intimate occasion.

At just two months old, Ernest's parents, Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank, are cherishing each milestone with their newborn.

The couple, who are already parents to two-year-old August, have expressed their joy at seeing August embrace his role as a big brother.

While it remains uncertain what plans Princess Eugenie and Jack have for the summer, it is likely that they will join King Charles at Balmoral, following in the footsteps of the late II.

In a 2016 ITV documentary, “Our Queen at Ninety,” Eugenie shared her fond memories of Balmoral, describing it as the most beautiful place on earth.

Should Princess Eugenie and Jack decide to travel to Scotland, they are expected to be accompanied by Eugenie's sister's family.

However, the insider has disclosed that their attendance hinges on whether Meghan is prohibited from attending the event.

Concerns over the potential sale of the children's images and other forms of harassment have prompted this precautionary measure.

Meghan's previous actions, such as using August's photo to manipulate an image of Frogmore Cottage, have left other members of the royal family feeling uncomfortable.

The presence of Meghan at Balmoral this summer would disrupt the harmonious atmosphere among the royal children.

Insiders suggest that her diva-like behavior has contributed to this decision.

Consequently, the palace has announced that King Charles has no intention of inviting Harry and Meghan to the royal family's reunion at Balmoral.

If Harry and Meghan do not attend, their two children, and , will miss out on spending the summer with their UK-based relatives.

Royal expert Robert Jobson, speaking on behalf of an insider, revealed that there is limited communication between the king and his youngest son.

Tensions have become more strained since Charles ascended the throne.

Royal correspondent Richard Palmer also shared his thoughts on the matter, stating that he does not believe Prince Harry and Meghan will receive an invitation to the castle.

The duke's last visit to Balmoral was after the passing of Queen Elizabeth, but his father did not permit him to bring his wife.

Palmer expressed his surprise if the couple were to attend this year's gathering.

While the specifics of King Charles' plans for the estate remain undisclosed, the Mail reports that he intends to uphold certain traditional events, including the Gillies Ball.

This end-of-summer celebration sees the royals donning tartan attire and reveling alongside their staff.

There are even hopes that the new king might personally take charge of the grill during one of the famous barbecues.

As one local remarked, “Nothing can stay stuck in time forever, but Balmoral wouldn't be the same without its barbecues.”

The estate is sure to undergo some changes under the new boss, while still preserving its essence.
