Royal Family Distances Itself from Harry and Meghan: Changes on Website Reflect the Shift
In a clear indication of the royal family's distancing from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, significant changes have been made to the official royal family website.
The couple's biographies have been moved down the homepage, now appearing towards the bottom, alongside other members such as the Duke of Kent and Prince Andrew.
Additionally, Harry's styling as his royal highness has been quietly removed from the site.
Under the terms of the 2020 Megxit agreement, Harry and Meghan were allowed to retain their HRH titles but were prohibited from using them after stepping down as senior royals.
However, certain sections of the royal website have mistakenly referred to Harry as HRH for the past three years.
Following recent updates made on Friday, there are no longer any references to the Duke as HRH.
Renowned royal author Richard Fitzwilliams commented on the changes, stating that the positioning of the Sussexes on the website, below the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester and Princess Alexandra, clearly demonstrates the royal family's desire to distance themselves from the couple.
Fitzwilliams further suggested that these alterations provide fresh evidence of the need for Harry and Meghan to prove their ability to succeed independently outside the royal family.
It is widely known that Harry and Meghan were deeply resentful of being compelled to step down from their roles as senior working members of the royal family.
Although they retained their titles, they were unable to utilize them and lost several patronages.
However, their brand remains closely associated with their royal status.
The challenge they currently face is to showcase their creativity and establish themselves in their own right.
Fitzwilliams implied that the couple was effectively dismissed, stating, “It's actually impressive how little by little everything's becoming known.
It all makes perfect sense, in fact.”
According to him, they launched an aggressive campaign to discredit the royal family out of concern that they would be exposed as having been asked to leave.
The alleged firing, orchestrated by the late Queen herself, explains Meghan's apparent indifference to the hurt caused by their actions during Prince Philip's illness and her own sickness.
It also clarifies their use of the racism accusation, knowing the impact it would have on the late Queen and the Commonwealth legacy.
Furthermore, the couple's choice of the nickname “Lilliput” was intended to inflict pain upon her.
Reportedly, the Queen had Meghan's belongings packed by Duchess Sophie and Prince Edward, who then escorted her to a plane bound for Canada.
Prior to this, the Queen had invited Meghan to attend an event with her, but Meghan declined, citing another meeting.
This marked the second time she had canceled an appearance with the Queen, which greatly irritated her.
Consequently, the Queen had Meghan's meeting canceled and swiftly arranged for her departure.
This could explain why personal items like a journal were not included.
It may also be the reason why Harry believes Meghan is owed an apology.
Essentially, it appears that Meghan was forced out of the country by the Queen, providing insight into the couple's ongoing attacks against the royal family.
The consequences of their departure from royal duties include being fired from the royal foundation and being banished to Frogmore Cottage due to Meghan's alleged mistreatment of staff.
However, the couple was allowed to present a narrative of setting up their own household to save face.
The Queen skillfully orchestrated their transition, allowing them to maintain a semblance of royalty in superficial ways while stripping away any meaningful privileges associated with their titles.
Their royal status has become hollow, devoid of any substantive power or influence.
Furthermore, the Queen did not permit any creative innovations under the Sussex Royal brand.
