The Channel Islands have not hosted a reigning monarch since 2005, underscoring the historical weight of this upcoming visit.

Jersey Deputy Sheriff Robert McRae disclosed that the royal pair is slated to grace the State's Assembly and the Royal Court during their brief stay.

Having resumed his official duties towards the end of April, the King is poised to partake in a series of prominent engagements in the ensuing weeks, encompassing events such as Trooping the Colour, Garter Day, and Royal Ascot.

The royal couple's post-general election voyage will culminate on July 17, coinciding with Camilla's 77th birthday and transpiring a day prior to the Parliament's formal inauguration.

During their forthcoming two-day escapade, King Charles and Queen Camilla aim to underscore the enduring bond between the Channel Islands and the Crown, a relationship steeped in centuries-old history.

The Jersey Sheriff's Office emphasized that the visit will predominantly spotlight St. Helier, with additional specifics regarding the day's proceedings anticipated imminently.

Jersey Lieutenant Governor Jerry Kitt expressed immense delight at the impending visit, citing it as a testament to the longstanding and intimate connection between Jersey, one of the oldest Crown territories, and the King, spanning eight centuries.

Upon reaching Guernsey, the royal duo is slated to partake in a secluded deliberation session and an age-old ceremony venerating the King, set against the scenic backdrop of the St. Peter Port seafront, enabling island residents to witness the ceremonial spectacle.
