Royal Children Spotted Shopping for School Supplies: Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s Normal Childhood

and , the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, are known for their efforts to provide a normal upbringing for their children.

Despite the extraordinary nature of a royal childhood, Kate ensures that her three kids experience a sense of normalcy whenever possible.

Recently, the princess was spotted shopping in London with her eldest children, Prince George and .

The photos emerged as the trio was seen purchasing school supplies.

Interestingly, it was Prince George who wanted to pay for the supplies, which included colored pencils and perfumed erasers for himself and his younger sister.

He intended to use his weekly allowance, provided by William and Kate, to cover the expenses.

Fellow shoppers reported that the children were given their own budget in the shop.

After selecting their items, they took them to the till and paid with their own money.

The photos suggest that the shopping trip took place after the children finished school for the day.

is still wearing her school uniform, while Prince George sports a red jersey.

Kate, as always, looked beautiful in a light yellow floral dress, paired with June London Lenore saddle trim toe sandals.

This is not the first time Kate has been seen running errands with her children.

In 2019, she was spotted buying Halloween costumes for George and Charlotte at Sainsbury's supermarket, using the self-checkout tills.

The previous year, shoppers were surprised to see the family at The Range, where George found fascination with a pot of slime.

In 2018, Kate was seen with her two eldest children shopping for school shoes at the Peter Jones department store in London.

However, she made a classic parenting blunder by forgetting to bring socks for George and Charlotte to wear while trying on the new shoes.

Like many other moms in similar situations, Kate had to borrow socks from the store.

Now, the Prince and Princess of Wales face the challenge of getting everything their children need for the upcoming school year, including uniforms, PE kits, and stationery.

It seems that their previous shopping trips did not go entirely according to plan.

Last year, amidst speculations about a possible move to Windsor, Kensington Palace announced that the royal children would start attending Lamerick School in September.

The school boasts impressive facilities such as a nine-hole golf course, a 25-meter swimming pool, and acres of land dedicated to football, rugby, and polo.

Kate and William strongly believe in the positive impact of sports and outdoor activities on children's development and mental well-being.

The new school will also necessitate a move for the royal family.

They will reside in Adelaide Cottage, a four-bedroom house located on the grounds of the Windsor Estate.

This Grade I-listed building, renovated in 2015, is just a short walk away from Windsor Castle and a 15-minute distance from Lamerick School.

This proximity allows Kate and William to continue handling the school run, as they have done in previous years.

They will retain their London home, Apartment 1A at the Palace, which serves as their working office.

Additionally, they will keep Anmer Hall, their beloved house in Sandringham, where they spend most of their breaks and weekends.

Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and their younger brother, , live with their parents at Adelaide Cottage in Windsor's Home Park.

They all attend the private Lamerick School near Ascot in Berkshire.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are known for sharing limited photos and updates about their children, allowing them to live relatively private lives as members of the royal family.

Recently, to celebrate ' fifth birthday, and Catherine released two new photographs of their son, taken earlier this month in Windsor.

As for Princess Charlotte, her birthday on May 2nd may bring a glimpse into her life, as the family is likely to release new portraits to mark the occasion.
