Resentment Grows Between Kate and Meghan Following Queen’s Funeral

The funeral of Queen Elizabeth II has reportedly caused tension between Kate, the Princess of Wales, and her sister-in-law Meghan Markle.

According to reports, both Kate and Meghan were instructed to remain behind while the rest of the royal family traveled to Balmoral on the day of the Queen's passing.

Prince Charles deemed it inappropriate for them to attend.

Renowned royal biographer Robert Jobson revealed in his latest book, “Our King,” that Kate had a strong desire to be present at the funeral.

This longing has led to feelings of resentment towards Meghan, as reported by The Mirror.

Following the news of the Queen's deteriorating health on September 8th, members of the royal family hurriedly made their way to Balmoral in Scotland to be by her side.

Prince Charles, Camilla, and Princess Anne were present when the Queen passed away.

They were later joined by Prince William, Prince Edward, Sophie, Countess of Wessex, Prince Andrew, and finally, Prince Harry.

In his memoir, Prince Harry shared that he learned about his grandmother's death through a message from Meghan, while descending in an airplane.

He then confirmed the news by checking the BBC website.

Reflecting on the moment, he wrote, “My grandmother had died.

My father was king.”

According to Mr. Jobson, both brothers were advised not to bring their wives to the funeral.

However, Harry insisted on Meghan accompanying him to Scotland, believing it was important for her to be there.

The King, however, maintained that only the Queen's children and grandchildren should be present during her final moments.

Although he privately desired to exclude Meghan, he couldn't convey this to Harry.

Consequently, he personally requested that Kate remain behind, aiming to create a fairer situation for Meghan.

Kate deliberately respected the King's wishes, but deep down, she yearned to be by the Queen's side in her last moments.

This internal struggle has fueled her resentment towards Meghan.

The funeral marked the first time in over two years that the brothers and their wives, formerly known as the Fab Four, were seen together.

Meghan and Harry stepped down as senior members of the royal family in March 2020 before relocating to the United States.

Since then, tensions between the brothers have escalated, particularly following the release of Harry's memoir.

In the book, Harry detailed physical altercations with his brother, alleging that William pushed him into a dog bowl.

The upcoming coronation will be the first time Harry and William come face to face since the publication of the memoir.

Although Harry recently returned to the UK for a court case, both the King and William were reportedly too occupied to arrange a meeting.
