Queen Elizabeth’s Battle with Cancer Revealed in New Book

They discussed various topics, including the queen's childhood, her love for horses, church matters, and her sadness regarding the situation in Ukraine.

Additionally, she had conversations with Clive Cox, a renowned racehorse trainer, and met both outgoing Prime Minister Boris Johnson and her successor, Liz Truss.

Brandreth also challenges the widely reported claim that Queen Elizabeth was present at Prince Philip's bedside when he passed away in April 2021.

According to his account, the prince had gone to the bathroom with the assistance of a nurse.

Feeling faint upon his return, he requested help getting back into bed.

The nurse immediately called for assistance from the Duke's Valley and the queen's page, Paul Wibrew.

Tragically, Prince Philip passed away before the queen could be summoned.

Brandreth further reveals that the couple spent weeks apart later in life, with the queen respecting Philip's desire for independence.

However, the pandemic brought them back together, and they both cherished the opportunity to live in close proximity once again.

In another extract from Brandreth's book, he highlights the queen's positive sentiments towards Meghan Markle, stating that she made efforts to welcome her into the royal family.

While the queen was devoted to Prince Harry, she believed that he may have been overly infatuated with Meghan.

In fact, the queen reportedly told Meghan that she could continue pursuing her acting career if she wished, as it was her profession.
