Queen Elizabeth Honored on Her Late Majesty’s 97th Birthday with Unseen Family Photo

In a heartfelt tribute to the late II on what would have been her 97th birthday, the royal family has shared a previously unseen photo of Her Late Majesty.

The picture captures wearing a navy blue shirt and a tartan skirt, posing with her grandkids and great-grandchildren at Balmoral Castle last summer.

However, it is worth noting that Archie and Lilibet were not included in the photo, leaving and with a sense of regret.

The image, taken by , showcases the late Queen's great-grandchildren and grandkids, including Lady Louise Windsor, James, Earl of Wessex, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, , Savannah Phillips, Isla Phillips, Mia Tyndall, Lena Tyndall, and Lucas Tyndall.

Queen Elizabeth, being in Scotland at the time, kept warm in a navy blue blouse paired with a black cardigan, perfectly complemented by a beautiful plaid skirt.

Adding a touch of elegance, Queen Elizabeth accessorized with her favorite pearl earrings and necklace, both cherished pieces from her jewelry collection.

The photo also captures her wearing the diamond engagement ring given to her by Prince Philip, which holds a sentimental value as he had passed away the year before.

It comes as no surprise that the late Duke of Edinburgh played a significant role in designing the engagement ring, given his well-known love of fashion.

The ring consists of a three-carat solitaire and five smaller diamonds, crafted in 1947 by London jewellers Philip Antrobus Limited.

The origin story behind Queen Elizabeth's engagement ring is quite captivating.

As Clare Beetson, general manager of lab-grown engagement ring company Nightingale, revealed, Prince Philip generously donated a three-carat centred diamond from his mother's personal collection when he realized he lacked the funds to purchase a suitable engagement ring for Her Majesty.

This unexpected image of Queen Elizabeth and her great-grandchildren took fans of the Royal Family by surprise on social media.

Many expressed their delight, with one user, LaFamilyWallace, tweeting, “Omg what a cute photo.

Another picture that will go down in history.”

Similar sentiments were shared by others, such as larla77, who described it as a “lovely photo, memories to cherish,” and Nat Montero, who said, “such a lovely picture.

This gives me such a great deal of optimism.”

UK__Royal__Follower commented on Instagram, stating, “really beautiful and a great way to remember Her Majesty,” while __Shuppette tweeted, “another stunning image captured by the Princess of Wales.”

Throughout her reign, Queen Elizabeth frequently spent her summers at Balmoral Castle, considering it her favorite royal residence.

The Princess of Wales, who has been documenting intimate moments within the Royal Family since the birth of Prince George, recently made this family snapshot public.

However, and 's children were not included in the photo, as they reside in California.

The unveiling of these photos holds even greater significance as it coincides with what would have been Queen Elizabeth's 97th birthday.

Additionally, a recent poll has sparked controversy, revealing that a majority of Britons disagree with becoming Queen.

The online survey conducted between March 24 and March 27 found that only 14% of British adults believe should be called Queen, while 23% think she shouldn't hold any title at all.

As preparations for King Charles's coronation are underway, this study questions the monarchy's future by highlighting the public's skepticism towards Camilla's potential crowning.

Out of the respondents, 36% believe she should retain her existing title of Queen Consort, while 23% feel she should have no title.

Another 16% believe she should continue being referred to as the Duchess of Cornwall.

However, the palace has recently confirmed that Camilla will indeed be referred to as the Queen after King Charles's coronation.

A senior palace insider explains that it is appropriate to begin referring to Queen Camilla in official capacities during the coronation.

This distinction is necessary to differentiate her from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, especially in the early months of King Charles's reign.

On this special day, as we remember Queen Elizabeth and celebrate her legacy, the royal family's heartfelt tribute reminds us of the cherished moments she shared with her loved ones at Balmoral Castle.
