Princess of Wales and Family Attend Annual Christmas Carol Service at Westminster Abbey

On a bitterly cold Thursday night, the Princess of Wales, along with the King, the Queen Consort, and the Prince of Wales, made their way to Westminster Abbey for the annual Together at Christmas Carol service.

Despite the freezing weather, the royal family attended the event as usual, spreading joy and warmth to the crowd.

The first to arrive was the beaming Princess Catherine, who hosted the concert herself.

She was later joined by her family, showing her support by placing a comforting hand on Prince George's back as they entered the service together, accompanied by and .

As the Waleses appeared at the event, they were greeted with huge cheers from the public.

The crowd shouted, “Catherine, we love you!

William, we love you!”

According to the UK's Express, approximately 500 people braved the cold outside the Abbey to catch a glimpse of the Prince and Princess of Wales.

The entrance to the Abbey was adorned with Christmas trees and snow, creating a festive atmosphere.

When the Waleses emerged from their car, a resounding cry of adoration erupted from the crowd.

Elis Santos, a Brazilian national from London, had waited for hours just to see the Royal Family's arrival.

Overwhelmed with emotion, she exclaimed, “, we love you!

Catherine, we love you!

We support you!

We love this family so much!”

and Queen Consort followed closely behind the Waleses, waving to the crowds lining the street outside the Abbey.

Despite the release of Prince Harry and 's bombshell documentary on Netflix earlier that day, support for the Royal Family remained strong among the enthusiastic crowd.

Elis Santos expressed her opinion on the situation, questioning the claims made by Harry and Meghan.

She pointed out the irony, stating, “What Harry and Meghan claim they are doing to them is exactly what they are doing to the Royal Family.

Saying the Royal Family is smearing them, but aren't they doing the same?”

The Carol concert also featured the Countess of Wessex, who looked elegant in a high neck cream midi dress and a long white coat.

She paired her outfit with brown heeled boots and an animal print clutch bag.

Prince Michael of Kent and his wife Princess Michael were also present at the event.

The Prince of Wales arrived at the Abbey with their two eldest children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Princess Charlotte wore a deep red coat that matched her mother's dress, while Prince William sported a coordinated maroon tie.

Princess Catherine, known for her impeccable style, completed her ensemble with matching high heels, gloves, and a crock clutch bag.

Her coordinating earrings added a touch of elegance, while her signature blow-dried hairstyle and subtle makeup enhanced her flawless appearance.

Before entering the Abbey, the Princess of Wales greeted the clergy at the door and exchanged pleasantries with guests.

She even enthusiastically high-fived children, spreading her infectious joy to everyone around her.

Catherine took the time to meet and express her gratitude to those participating in the service, including Paddington star Hugh Bonneville and singer Melanie C.

In addition to the royal family, Catherine's parents, Carol and Michael Middleton, her sister Pippa and her husband James Matthews, and her brother James and his wife Ollie Z were also present at the concert.

More than 1,800 people gathered at the Abbey for the event, which aimed to recognize the selfless efforts of individuals, families, and communities across the UK, celebrating the power of human connection and togetherness.

Kensington Palace stated that the second Carol service hosted by Catherine was dedicated to the late II and the values she exemplified throughout her life.

These values included duty, empathy, faith, service, kindness, compassion, and support for others.

The Palace invited inspirational guests who embody these principles and have tirelessly worked to help and care for those around them.

A Christmas tree inside the Abbey was adorned with small Paddington bear decorations, paying homage to the late Queen's famous sketch.

Guests were welcomed with artificial snowflakes created by a snow machine as they arrived at the entrance, adding to the festive atmosphere.

The world-renowned Westminster Abbey Choir performed beloved carols, including “Oh Come All Ye Faithful,” which was chosen through a public poll.

Musical performances by Craig David, Alexis French, and Samantha Barks, along with a special duet by Alfie Bowe and Melanie C, added to the enchanting ambiance of the evening.

The event will be broadcast as part of Royal Carols – Together at Christmas, a special program narrated by actress Catherine Zeta-Jones, airing on ITV1 on Christmas Eve.

This royal engagement coincided with the release of the second installment of Prince Harry and 's documentary series.

In the Netflix series, Prince Harry discusses his strained relationship with members of the royal family, particularly his brother Prince William.

He recalls a family meeting at Sandringham House, describing it as a terrifying experience with his brother screaming and shouting at him, his father saying things that weren't true, and his grandmother silently enduring it all.
