The Princes of Wales stole the show at the state banquet held at Buckingham Palace in honor of South African President Cyril Ramaphosa.

Royal fans were eagerly anticipating Kate's outfit choice, and they were certainly not disappointed.

The new Princess of Wales, formerly known as , looked even more glamorous than usual.

She wore a stunning accessory to the dinner party – the Queen Mary's Lover's Knot Tiara, a favorite of the late .

This tiara features teardrop pearls and plenty of diamonds, making it both beautiful and presumably quite heavy.

The tiara was created by royal jeweler Gerard in 1914, based on Queen Mary's personal design.

It was made using pearls and diamonds that were already in her family's possession.

However, it is also a replica of one owned by her grandmother, Princess Augusta of Hice.

The original designer remains uncertain, but regardless, the tiara eventually passed down to Diana, who wore it on numerous occasions.

Princess Catherine did not simply wear the famous tiara with any ordinary outfit.

She donned an embellished white dress with a cape, adorned with a brooch featuring the late II's image and a regal blue sash.

Her diamond and pearl earrings, pearl bracelet, and pearl scent clutch perfectly complemented the heirloom.

Royal fans couldn't help but comment on Kate's outfit for this special event.

One person wrote, “I genuinely gasped.

She seemed to be leaning into pearls as her signature jewel, which is a nice connection between Queen Diana and her.”

Another fan mentioned that the tiara suited the outfit well, saying, “I know people are tired of that tiara, but it does really suit this outfit.”

The style of the dress, which was from 2021, could even be worn as a wedding dress.

It has gained popularity and is featured on the Jenny Packham Bridal Instagram account.

Earlier in the day, the mother of three was seen in a different outfit before changing into her show-stopping evening attire.

She wore a royal silhouette skimming coat made from rich burgundy wool, paired with sleek pointed toe heels.

To complete the look, she wore the Princess of Wales feather brooch, a royal heirloom gifted to when she married Prince Charles in 1981.

Princess Kate's enviable brunette tresses were styled in loose curls that framed her pretty features, flowing past her shoulders under a chic pillbox hat adorned with an oversized bow.

Her ageless glow was highlighted with soft bronzer, subtle eye makeup, and rosy blush.

As for accessories, she carried her prized Marlbury Bayswater Clutch in Canberry Suede, staying consistent with the berry theme.

She also wore Gianvinto 105 Royal Burgundy Suede Pumps by Gianvito Rozzi.
