Princess Eugenie has joyfully announced the arrival of her second child, Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank.

The 33-year-old granddaughter of the late III and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, welcomed their new addition almost a week ago on May 30th.

Ernest weighed 7 pounds and 1 ounce, making him a healthy baby boy.

This news also means that their firstborn, August, who is now 2 years old, has become an older brother and is the first grandchild born since the passing of the queen.

Ernest is the thirteenth direct and legitimate grandchild of III.

Interestingly, five of her grandchildren share variations of the late queen's most distinguished name.
