Princess Charlotte Receives Lavish Birthday Gift, While Lilibet Misses Out

, the middle child of and Princess Kate, has been known to receive extravagant gifts for her birthday.

However, her younger sister, , did not receive anything on her special day.

At just 8 years old, Charlotte has already been spoiled like the princess she is.

One of her most luxurious presents was a stunning 18k white gold rattle adorned with various gems.

This precious piece features sapphires, rubies, and diamonds, arranged in the design of the Union Jack flag.

Its estimated value is an astounding £35,426.

The gift was given to Charlotte by the Natural Sapphire Company as a token of appreciation to William and Kate.

After their engagement, sales of sapphire engagement rings skyrocketed, with many women wanting to emulate the iconic blue sapphire ring that once belonged to Princess Diana.

The company's website mentioned that when Kate and William were engaged, their sapphire ring sales soared, as women everywhere wanted to be as fashionable as Kate.

However, Kensington Palace confirmed that the couple declined to accept the lavish baby toy, as they generally do not accept gifts from commercial companies.

Despite this refusal, Charlotte still received an incredibly extravagant gift all the way from Canada.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau donated £79,000 to Immunise Canada, a vaccination charity, in Charlotte's name.

Additionally, he gifted the one-year-old a snowsuit and a book.

On the other hand, Charlotte received more practical gifts from her grandfather, , and her aunt, Pippa Middleton.

The monarch purchased a willow rattle made by Irish basket maker Ciaran Hogan, which cost £25.

Pippa Middleton opted for biodegradable nappies made from natural mool cloth, costing nearly £5.

In contrast, 's children, and , did not receive any gifts from or other members of the royal family.

This is not due to discrimination within the family, but rather because the royal family has never met them.

This Christmas, the Sussex children once again spent the holiday without seeing their grandfather.

In his memoir “Spare Prints,” Prince Harry provided insight into their first Christmas away from the royal family in 2020, spent in Montecito, California with Meghan and their young son .

According to Harry, the couple purchased a large Christmas tree from a local pop-up shop in Santa Barbara to decorate their new home.

Meghan gifted Harry an ornament featuring 's face.

The couple found joy in hanging it on an eye-level branch, as it reminded them of the Queen's presence.

However, during playtime near the tree, Archie accidentally shook it, causing the ornament to fall and shatter on the ground.

In an attempt to fix it, the toddler grabbed a spray bottle and started spraying water on the broken pieces, unaware that it was the Queen's face on the ornament.

Prince Harry amusingly recounted the incident in his memoir, sharing Meghan's reaction as she told Archie not to spray water on “Gan-Gan” (the Queen).

Harry quickly swept up the broken pieces, finding the situation rather peculiar.

It is worth noting that this story shared by Harry is entirely fictional and meant to entertain readers.

While Princess Charlotte continues to receive extravagant gifts fit for a princess, her younger sister Lilibet will have to wait for her turn to experience such luxury.

The royal family's gift-giving traditions vary, and each child is treated differently based on their individual circumstances.
