Princess Charlotte Celebrates Sixth Birthday with Feisty Spirit

Princess Charlotte, the daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, recently turned six and enjoyed a splendid celebration.

In honor of her special day, the Duchess shared a new portrait of her adorable daughter.

Meanwhile, the Duke opened up about Charlotte's feisty side and candidly discussed how she enjoyed her birthday.

During a visit to Babcock International Engineering in Warsaw, Prince William revealed that his feisty daughter proudly claims to be 16 years old when asked about her age.

He humorously shared that Charlotte confidently says, “I'm six now, I'll do what I want.”

William also disclosed that his wife, Catherine, hosted a small garden party to commemorate their daughter's sixth birthday on Sunday.

They invited another family to join the celebration, as per government guidelines allowing two households to gather outdoors.

The Cambridges could have chosen to invite members of the Royal family, the Middleton family, or a mix of both.

Jenna Jackson, a mother of two and the lead HR business partner of Babcock International Vehicle Engineering firm, inquired about Charlotte's birthday festivities.

William graciously replied, “She did, thank you very much, yes.”

He further explained that last year, due to the lockdown, there was no birthday party for Charlotte.

However, this year, they managed to celebrate with one other family.

Although it wasn't a traditional party, they made sure it was as fun as possible.

Prince William jokingly added that if you ask Charlotte, she will tell you she is 16 and assert her independence by saying, “I'm six now, I'll do what I want.”

He concluded by remarking how quickly children grow up.
