Princess Catherine Heartbroken Over Prince George’s Future Education Plans

In the glittering world of royalty, even the most picture-perfect families grapple with tough decisions that come with tradition and duty.

The latest bombshell to hit the headlines involves none other than Catherine, the Princess of Wales, who reportedly feels heartbroken over the future educational plans for her eldest son, Prince George.

The royal couple, and Princess Catherine, have set their sights on Eton College, William's alma mater, for the young prince when he reaches his teenage years.

However, the decision has not been without its fair share of drama, with reports suggesting that Catherine was initially opposed to the idea.

It appears that William, eager for George to follow in his footsteps, managed to sway his wife's stance on the matter.

According to The Mirror, the royal trio were spotted touring Eton College, Windsor, headquarters in June last year, marking the beginning of what could be a significant chapter in young George's life.

The decision to opt for Eton over the traditional royal choice, Gordonstoun in Scotland, stems from a desire to break with tradition.

This choice has its roots in Prince Charles's apparent disdain for his own school experiences at Gordonstoun, which he famously dubbed “coldits in kilts.”

A royal insider spilled the tea to In Touch Weekly, revealing that Catherine and William have been at odds over the decision for years.

Catherine, who experienced bullying at her first boarding school, initially resisted the idea, feeling that sending George to such a traditional institution conflicted with their efforts to modernize the monarchy.

The source divulged that Catherine long disagreed with her husband about sending him away, even though it's tradition.

She believes that sending him to such a stuffy, upper-crust institution goes against all of their efforts to modernize the monarchy.

Additionally, she'll miss George desperately.

Despite Catherine's reservations, the insider disclosed that she ultimately gave in when she saw how much George aspired to be just like his father.

It's a bittersweet compromise, as Catherine still carries the scars of her own boarding school experience.

The princess is now faced with the challenge of navigating the emotional terrain as George's Eton journey approaches.

With a school entrance exam on the horizon, Catherine is rumored to be skipping a planned visit to Singapore in November to support her son through the process.

While Eton College may be a mere nine-minute drive from the family's cottage, concerns linger about the potential impact on the close-knit royal family.

The insider suggested that it still seems as if her family is being torn apart, and there's always the worry that William will insist that the other two kids be shipped off next.

Catherine knows this is all part of the royal duty, as the royal family faces the universal challenge of balancing tradition with the well-being of their children.
