Princess Catherine: A Hands-On Mom Who Breaks Royal Protocols

Being a princess seems glamorous, right?

Consider the palaces you'd visit, all the traveling around the world you'd get to do, and the outfits.

But sometimes, it can be downright exhausting.

Sure, Catherine handles her royal duties like a star, but it's pretty obvious that being 's wife and the mother of three children takes its toll.

However, Catherine is just like us, a pretty regular mom, despite her fancy title and job.

Recently, the Princess of Wales has been more hands-on than ever with her family staying home together.

Raised by a hands-on mom herself, Catherine has taken on the role of a hands-on mom, too.

She has been cutting her children's hair at home, following in her mom Carol Middleton's footsteps.

Cooking and cutting children's hair are no big deal for her and her sister Pippa, as their mom taught them these skills.

Catherine loves playing with her children and making memories with them.

Even at events, she can often be seen chasing after George, playing with Charlotte, or making funny faces at Louis.

At a polo match, she held a picnic lunch on the grass with her children and even carried their toys for them.

She enjoys being involved in every aspect of her children's lives, including making their birthday cakes herself.

Encouraging her kids to participate in activities, Catherine has introduced them to baking.

Although the kitchen ends up in a complete mess, it's all part of the fun for her.

According to the Insider, one meal that the children love to make with their mom is pizza.

Catherine believes in encouraging their creativity and independence through cooking.

While there are certain rules that royals are expected to follow, Catherine often breaks them for her children.

For instance, she allows both Prince George and to wear pants, even though royal boys are expected to wear shorts until a certain age.

Moreover, unlike William and Harry, who attended all-boys sporting schools, Catherine's kids go to a co-ed day school, where they interact with both boys and girls.

This modern approach to education reflects her desire to provide a well-rounded experience for her children.

Not only do her children attend a regular school, but Catherine also takes the time to do the drop-off herself.

Even during the current online schooling period, she has become a homeschool teacher for Charlotte and George.

Instead of hiring an online tutor, she has taken on the role herself, just like any other parent.

Although the royals don't publicly celebrate Halloween, Catherine still allows her children to dress up for a private celebration.

She was even spotted buying their costumes at the supermarket, just like any ordinary parent would.

Catherine understands the importance of being present and excited for every little thing her children do.

On a trip to Australia with Prince George, Catherine showed her true mom instincts.

When he had a little drool, she didn't hesitate to wipe it off his mouth with her hand, even rubbing it on her designer dress.

Being a royal mom doesn't change the fact that moms are used to having their clothes covered in all kinds of fluids during the early baby days.

Princess Catherine's commitment to being a hands-on mom and breaking royal protocols for the sake of her children is admirable.

Despite her royal status, she remains relatable and down-to-earth.

Her love and dedication to her family shine through in every aspect of her life, making her a true role model for parents everywhere.
