In a heartwarming display of resilience, made her much-anticipated return to royal duties on Friday after a brief hiatus due to a concussion.

The occasion marked a significant moment not only for the Princess Royal but also for her family, particularly and Princess Kate, who expressed their joy with a simple yet powerful two-word message: “Super Trooper.”

Last month, faced a serious health scare when she was hospitalized in Bristol for five days following an accident at her Gloucestershire estate, Gatcombe Park.

Reports indicate that she suffered a concussion that left her with memory loss, likely caused by a collision with a horse.

Surrounded by her husband, Sir Tim Lawrence, and daughter, Sarah Tyndall, she received care at Southmead Hospital from June 23 to June 28.

Upon her return to public life, the royal family took to social media to share their excitement.

They posted images of Princess Anne on X, celebrating her swift recovery and return to duty.

It was a heartfelt acknowledgment of her strength and determination as she resumed her responsibilities.

Princess Anne's first official engagement back was at the Writing for the Disabled Association (RDA) national championships held at Hartbury University and College in Gloucestershire.

Attendees were thrilled to see her, and despite showing some signs of her recent ordeal—like slight bruising beneath her left eye—she radiated positivity throughout the event.

Dressed in an elegant grey suit complemented by a vibrant scarf and a blue cap, Princess Anne was warmly welcomed by RDA chairperson Helena Vega Lozano and chief executive Michael Bishop.

The atmosphere was filled with excitement as she mingled with participants and volunteers, embodying the spirit of the event.

Having been a patron of the RDA since November 1971 and its president since March 1986, Princess Anne's presence at this year's championship, which coincided with the organization's 55th anniversary, added a special touch to the celebration.

Her commitment to the RDA has spanned decades, and her return felt like a homecoming for many involved.

Helena Vega Lozano expressed her gratitude, stating, “It's a great honor for the Princess to come to the RDA as her only event since the accident.”

She noted how inspiring it was to have Princess Anne present, emphasizing the motivation her attendance provided to everyone at the event.

Michael Bishop echoed these sentiments, highlighting the significance of Princess Anne's long-standing support for the RDA community.

He remarked, “We are honored to welcome the Princess Royal to our flagship event,” acknowledging the impact she has had over the years.

Throughout the day, Princess Anne engaged in lively conversations with attendees, showcasing her remarkable spirit.

She even shared light-hearted jokes, making it clear that she was fully aware of her surroundings and recognized many of the volunteers from previous encounters.
