Opting for a more casual attire by donning a suit instead of the traditional formal uniform, the Prince of Wales proudly displayed the late Queen's distinguished gold, diamond, and platinum jubilee medals.

Positioned on the left side of his chest, these medals were accompanied by the King's coronation medal from 2023.

Additionally, Prince William sported the Order of the Bath, a prestigious decoration bestowed upon military or civil service individuals for their exceptional contributions, for the very first time.

This honor came shortly after being appointed as the Grand Master of the Order of the Bath by in late April, succeeding his father in this esteemed role.

Taking center stage at the commemorative gathering on South Sea Common, the historic departure point for Allied forces heading to Normandy in 1944, Prince William expressed his profound gratitude for participating in the event and acknowledging the bravery of individuals from all corners of the nation and diverse backgrounds who united against tyranny.

Scheduled to journey to France on Thursday, the Prince of Wales will partake in events commemorating the historic Normandy landings that took place on June 6, 1944.
