Prince William’s Daughter Charlotte Shows Football Skills, Says Dad
During a recent meeting with England's women's football team, Prince William couldn't help but gush about his seven-year-old daughter, Princess Charlotte.
The Duke of Cambridge, who also serves as the president of the Football Association, took the opportunity to share some insights into his daughter's interests and hobbies.
It turns out that little Charlotte is just as passionate about the beautiful game as the players themselves.
Prince William visited the team during their training session at St George's Park.
Dressed in a suit and blazer, he opted for a more casual look with an open-collared blue shirt instead of his usual buttoned-up attire.
As a token of appreciation, the team presented him with personalized football shirts for his three children: Prince George VIII, Princess Charlotte VII, and four-year-old Prince Louis.
While receiving the gifts, Prince William relayed a message from his daughter to the team.
“Charlotte wants me to tell you she's really good in goal,” he proudly announced.
He further added, “A budding star for the future.”
It seems that Princess Charlotte has already set her sights on becoming a football sensation.
Amidst the photo session, Prince William jokingly posed as if the three kids had been signed to the team, holding up their new shirts.
The Duke also shared with Captain Lee Williamson that Prince George is a member of a local football team and is known for his competitive spirit.
It appears that the young prince shares his father's passion for the sport.
Prince George's enthusiasm for football is no secret.
In fact, he once begged his father to take him to an England World Cup game during the previous summer.
Royal expert Duncan Larcombe revealed, “Prince William is George's absolute hero.
He thinks his dad's the most perfect person on the planet.”
Larcombe explained that Prince William initially hesitated to bring George along to the football match, as it was an official outing.
However, the young prince's persistence eventually won over his parents.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are careful not to expose their children unnecessarily to the public eye.
Nonetheless, Prince George's admiration for his father is undeniable.
Larcombe observed, “George idolizes his dad.
That's why we saw him looking so smart in his suit.
He really wanted to dress like William.”
It seems that Prince George is already shaping up to be quite the character, with both his parents wrapped around his little finger.
Prince William's visit to the England women's football team not only showcased his support for the sport but also shed light on his daughter's burgeoning talent.
