Prince of Wales Undertakes 94 Royal Engagements in 2023: Will the Prince and Princess of Wales Step Up Their Game?

It has been revealed that the Prince of Wales has been busy with a total of 94 royal engagements so far this year.

However, there are calls for the royal couple to increase their involvement in these engagements.

The Prince and Princess of Wales are known for being hands-on parents to their children, Prince George, , and , going as far as clearing their schedules for summer vacations.

During a recent visit to Keswick Cumbria's market square, Kay, a local resident, shared with the crowd that she and had taken their children on a holiday to the picturesque Lake District during the summer break.

Despite the rain and the long distance from their home in Norfolk, the royal family loves the area.

Kay emphasized how much her children enjoy coming to the Lake District, especially for walks in the fells.

She expressed her admiration for the beauty of the region and how fortunate the locals are to live close to such magnificent mountains.

It comes as no surprise that and Kay chose the Lake District as their vacation destination.

Both of them have a deep appreciation for the outdoors and often emphasize the importance of young people spending time in nature.

This passion even inspired the princess to create her Chelsea Flower Show garden, Back to Nature.

Kate has previously mentioned that she loves spending time outdoors with her children, engaging in activities like playing games and going on nature hunts.

The royal children, George, Charlotte, and Louis, are active and enjoy participating in various sports.

They also relish exploring the great outdoors.

Prince William once remarked that George, in particular, becomes restless if he spends too much time indoors.

He described his son as a serious boy who knows how to have fun.

While George may sometimes hang back while Charlotte and Louie rush forward, he fully immerses himself in sports and has already progressed from tag rugby to the more physical contact version.

Moreover, George has had unique experiences that money can't buy, such as receiving tennis coaching from none other than Roger Federer.

He has even been granted special permission to sit in the Royal Box at Wimbledon, provided he wears a shirt and tie and behaves impeccably for the cameras.

The Wales family typically spends their school holidays at their country home, Anmer Hall, in Norfolk.

The property has been designated a no-fly zone since George's birth in 2013, and the couple planted a row of trees along their driveway to enhance their privacy.

On their wedding anniversary, the couple released a video of themselves playing with their children, giving royal fans a glimpse of their garden.

The garden features a wendy house, a wooden seesaw, and a spacious lawn surrounded by plants, creating the perfect play area.

Last year, the family relocated from London to their private residence, Adelaide College, in Windsor.

This summer marks their first full season in this new home, providing them with ample opportunities to relax and enjoy themselves.

The Great Windsor Park is conveniently located nearby, and they have plenty of family members in the area for visits.

This year, the family has an even wider range of choices for their summer holidays.

Prince William now oversees several properties under the Duchy of Cornwall, including the Isles of Scilly, a group of over 200 islands.

One potential destination is the stunning Tresco Island, where they stayed in 2019 at a magnificent manor called Dolphin House.

Additionally, the Duchy manages 28 beautiful holiday cottages across Cornwall, ranging from cozy one-bedroom abodes like Harris Cottage to grand residences like Restormale Manor.

The latter boasts nine bedrooms, three sitting rooms, three kitchens, a heated swimming pool, steam room, sauna, children's play area, tennis court, and a games room.

Could this be the spot where the family chooses to spend their summer break?

Balmoral is another option for the Wales family.

It was a tradition started by the late Queen Mother, and may continue this tradition by hosting the entire family at the grand Scottish home.

Wherever they decide to go, one thing is certain: Prince William and Kate will ensure that their children have a fun and action-packed vacation.
