Prince Louis to Join Royal Family’s Christmas Day Celebrations

Prince Louis, the mischievous young prince who stole the show at the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, is set to join the royal family's Christmas Day celebrations.

As senior members of the family gather at Sandringham for this traditional holiday event, the younger generation is expected to step into the limelight.

This year, Prince Louis IV will make his debut in the family's traditional Christmas Day walk to church.

During the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations, Prince Louis captured the nation's attention with his playful antics.

Photos of him making funny faces and covering his ears went viral, delighting people worldwide.

In a particularly amusing moment, he even playfully shushed his mother, Kate, by putting his hand over her mouth while standing next to the late queen during a flyover at Buckingham Palace.

Reflecting on the jubilee celebrations, his parents later commented, “We all had an incredible time, especially Louis.”

The final decision regarding Prince Louis' participation in the Sandringham milestone will be made on the day itself.

This year, King Charles will make history by delivering his first festive speech as the male monarch.

On Christmas Day, he will be the first king to address the nation on TV, with a recent poll indicating that 38% of the population plans to tune in.

The speech, reportedly filmed on December 13, is expected to pay tribute to the late queen.

Additionally, it is anticipated that King Charles will mention the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in his speech, which was planned for recording before the release of the latest episodes of their Netflix show.

In these episodes, Prince Harry accused the king of lying during the tense Megxit crisis meeting with the queen in January 2020.

The Royal Walk, a cherished Christmas Day family tradition, will take place earlier in the day.

The family will journey from Sandringham to St. Mary Magdalene Church to attend the morning service.

Along the route, they will greet well-wishers who have gathered to catch a glimpse of the royals.

The church can accommodate up to 100 people, with the monarch sitting in the front row.

This year, the monarch has decided to return to the beloved tradition of gathering the family at Sandringham House, a vast country estate in Norfolk spanning 20,000 acres.

The family will also partake in the 300-meter public walk on Christmas morning.

Since 1988, they have celebrated Christmas at Sandringham, but due to the pandemic, the late queen stayed in Windsor during 2020 and 2021.

While their return to Sandringham will be tinged with sadness due to the absence of the beloved queen, it is hoped that Prince Louis' expressive nature will bring some joy to the proceedings as he joins his siblings, Prince George (9) and Princess Charlotte (7).

In 2019, when she was just four years old, Princess Charlotte charmed the crowds by giving hugs to royal fans, including one who presented her with an inflatable flamingo toy worth £1.50.

However, it's not only Prince Louis' behavior that the royals need to watch out for during the Christmas morning church service.

His father, Prince William, has previously admitted to getting the giggles on multiple occasions.

He jokingly remarked, “I have had the giggles many, many times in the service.

Luckily, no one's filming it, so you can get away with it, and on Christmas day, it's fun to have a giggle and enjoy yourself.”
