Prince Louis, the Youngest Cambridge, Zooms Through His Toddler Years
It seems like just yesterday that Prince Louis, the fifth in line to the throne, celebrated his third birthday.
However, this little royal is growing up fast and embracing his toddler years with a burst of energy.
In a recent phone conversation shared on the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's new YouTube channel, the Duchess chatted with four-year-old Mila, who had participated in the Duchess' Hold Still campaign with the National Portrait Gallery during lockdown.
Mila, full of excitement, proudly informed the Duchess that she knew the names of all her children.
The conversation began with Mila addressing the Duchess as “Your Royal Highness” and the Duchess, amused, replied with, “Good morning, goodness me!
You're so polite, Mila.”
Mila then confidently listed the names of the royal children: Princess Charlotte, Prince George, and finally, Prince Louis.
The Duchess was impressed by Mila's knowledge and shared a delightful tidbit about Prince Louis.
She revealed that the young prince has become quite the speed demon, zooming around on his scooter.
“Louis's got so big now,” the Duchess told Mila.
“He's very quick running around, and he's on his little scooter as well.
He's very quick.
I can't keep up with him.”
It seems that Prince Louis is not only skilled on a scooter but also owns a bike.
A charming photograph of the prince posing on his red frog bike was released last month to celebrate his third birthday.
This active nature is not surprising, as his mother, Duchess Catherine, has previously mentioned that Prince Louis is quite an energetic character.
Even at a young age, he displayed his balancing skills to his mother and followed her everywhere, exclaiming, “me, me, me.”
Royal fans were treated to a glimpse of Prince Louis in action in a family video shared by the Duke and Duchess on their 10th wedding anniversary.
The video captured moments of the family enjoying the outdoors, with both parents chasing after the energetic prince on the grounds of their country home, Anmer Hall.
Now that Prince Louis is three years old, it seems there is no stopping him.
His energy and enthusiasm are boundless, making it quite a challenge for anyone to catch up with him.
As he continues to grow, it will be fascinating to see how he embraces new adventures and continues to bring joy to his family and royal enthusiasts alike.
