Their close connection led Eugene to play matchmaker between Harry and her friend, Cressida Bonas.

However, their attempt at romance took an awkward turn, as Harry revealed in his memoir, Spare.

After being introduced to Cressida, the couple went on a dinner date, followed by a second outing where Harry dropped her off at home.

Despite his attempt to kiss her, the moment ended in discomfort.

Harry reached out to his cousin the next day to share the details, only to discover that Cressida had already spoken to Eugene about the awkward encounter.

Fortunately, the mishap didn't deter Cressida, and they decided to give their relationship another chance.

From 2012 to 2014, they dated, but ultimately parted ways due to the overwhelming media attention associated with dating a royal.

Today, Harry is happily married to Meghan, with two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, while Eugene is married to Jack Brooksbank.

They have a two-year-old son named August and are expecting their second child this summer.

Princess Eugene took to her personal Instagram account to share the joyful news.

She posted a heartwarming photo taken by Jack, featuring their son August kissing her baby bump.

In the picture, Eugene can be seen wearing a cozy hat, beaming with happiness as August, dressed in a burgundy winter hat, matching trousers, and wellies, lovingly embraces her.

Eugene expressed her excitement, stating that their family will be welcoming a new addition this summer.
