Prince Harry’s Surprise Visit to the UK Raises Eyebrows as King Charles Refuses to Meet Him
Prince Harry's recent trip to the UK has sparked controversy as it has been revealed that his father, King Charles, opted not to meet with him during his visit.
Drama expert Kinsey Schofield has shed light on this decision, suggesting that Charles is wary of getting entangled in any drama before his impending coronation.
In an interview with Fox News, Schofield, who hosts the To Die For Daily podcast, emphasized the significance of Charles' choice to forgo a meeting with Harry.
Despite the 38-year-old's presence in London to initiate a privacy case against Associated Newspapers at the High Court, Charles decided against engaging with his son.
Schofield remarked, “The King's diary is typically planned months in advance, so the fact that he chose not to meet with his son tells me that Charles does not trust Harry.
He wants to avoid any pre-coronation drama and seems to view Harry's grievances as insignificant.”
Schofield also issued a warning to Harry and Meghan, stating that if they decide to attend King Charles' coronation on May 6th, they should be prepared for a chilly reception from their British relatives.
She added, “If Harry and Meghan attend the King's coronation, they should bring their parkas, because things are going to be ice cold.”
The expert further highlighted that Charles' reluctance to make time for his son is a clear indication of the strained relationship between them.
This strained dynamic has been in the spotlight since Harry and Meghan stepped down as senior royals last year.
During their explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey, the couple made several accusations against the royal family, with Harry expressing his disappointment in his father for ignoring his calls and cutting off communication.
Despite their troubled relationship, Harry did attend the funeral of his grandfather, Prince Philip, earlier this month.
However, due to COVID-19 restrictions, he was unable to spend much time with his family.
The upcoming coronation of King Charles is expected to be a significant event for the royal family.
Whether Harry and Meghan will attend remains uncertain, but if they do, it is likely to be a tense occasion given the strained relationship between the couple and their British relatives.
