The coronation service, where King Charles and Queen Camilla were crowned by the Archbishop of Canterbury, attracted fewer viewers than the wedding of Kate Middleton and Prince William in 2011, which was followed by around 24 million viewers at its peak.

Additionally, Queen Elizabeth's funeral garnered more than 28 million viewers last September.
