Prince Harry to Attend Father’s Coronation: Speculation Surrounds Sussex Reunion

In a recent announcement, Prince Harry has confirmed his attendance at the upcoming coronation of his father, King Charles III.

However, this revelation has not quelled the speculation surrounding a potential reunion with the rest of the royal family.

Paul Burrell, Princess Diana's former butler, shed some light on the seating arrangements for the event during an appearance on GB News.

According to Burrell, Harry will be seated ten rows behind his brother, Prince William, and the other working royals.

This choice of seating has led some to interpret it as a sign of a chilly reception towards the Duke of Sussex from his relatives.

Burrell, who believes that Harry's seating arrangement reflects the true nature of his relationship with Charles and William, expressed doubt about any possibility of reconciliation in the near future.

Burrell stated, “There is no chance of a reconciliation anytime soon, I'm afraid.

I think he will get a very icy reception from the Windsors.”

Despite this prediction, Burrell also suggested that Charles would be pleased to have both his sons present for such a momentous occasion in his life.

Furthermore, Burrell claimed that Harry is expected to leave shortly after the ceremony, indicating that he has no intention of spending much time in the company of his family.

“Harry is not going to hang around; he's coming to show face,” Burrell added.

This is not the first time Harry's assigned seating has caused controversy.

Following Queen Elizabeth II's funeral, where Harry and Meghan Markle were seated in the second row, there was speculation about whether the seating arrangement was a deliberate snub.

Some royal commentators questioned what the plan would be if the couple were to attend Charles's coronation.

Other reports suggest that the front row of the coronation will be reserved for working royals, a role from which Harry and Meghan formally resigned in 2020.

From this perspective, it is understandable why Harry would not be seated alongside his family members.

It is possible that assigning him a seat further back was a deliberate move to avoid drawing attention away from the other royals.

However, regardless of where they are seated, their presence will undoubtedly spark conversations of its own.

While Burrell's predictions remain to be seen, it is undeniable that Charles will be pleased to have both his sons present on one of the most significant days of his life, regardless of their current relationship dynamics.
