Prince Harry Faces Snub as King Charles III Amends Regency Act

is set to face a painful snub under the reign of King Charles III, the newly crowned King of England.

His Majesty plans to make changes to the 1937 Regency Act, which would prohibit non-working royals from serving as councillors of state.

As a result, Harry, along with and , would be barred from holding this position.

But what exactly is a councillor of state, and how would these changes impact Harry's role within the royal family?

According to reports, King Charles has already outlined his intentions to amend the Act, incorporating a clause that would prevent non-working royals from assuming the role of councillor of state.

If these changes are officially implemented, Harry, Andrew, and Beatrice would be prohibited from taking on this responsibility.

Instead, the position would be filled by William, Prince Edward, and .

In the absence of any other senior working royal in line to the throne, the fourth spot could potentially be occupied by another working royal, such as the Princess of Wales.

Should King Charles proceed with the amendments, Harry would no longer be able to serve as a councillor of state for his own father.

This alteration could further distance him from the royal family, reducing his remaining connections to the monarchy.

In a surprising turn of events, it has been claimed that Queen Consort expressed her astonishment when suggested the idea of hiring a mediator to participate in an uncomfortable family meeting.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex made a stop in Britain on their way to The Hague for the Invictus Games.

Charles insisted on meeting Harry and Meghan before their audience with the ailing Sovereign, as detailed in the book “The New Royals: 's Legacy and the Future of the Crown” by Katie Nicholls.

According to reports, the Sussexes arrived late for the awkward conversation, leaving Charles with only 15 minutes to spend with the jet-setting couple before they had to depart for the Royal Maundy service at Windsor Castle.

Although father and son greeted each other warmly, there were still moments of tension that left , now Queen Consort, at a loss for words.

Camilla was reportedly taken aback when Prince Harry proposed the presence of an impartial third party to facilitate harmony.

A family friend disclosed that Harry approached the situation with good intentions, expressing his desire to clear the air.

He even suggested the use of a mediator to resolve their differences, which left Charles somewhat bewildered and Camilla choking on her tea.

She dismissed Harry's suggestion as ridiculous, emphasizing that they were a family and should be able to resolve their issues amongst themselves.

Meanwhile, it is reported that the Queen confided in a friend, expressing her exhaustion from the turmoil caused by Harry and Meghan's decisions.

The confidante claimed that the Queen was deeply hurt and lamented, “I don't know, I don't care, and I don't want to think about it anymore.”

Nicholls also noted that the Queen was saddened by the limited time she got to spend with and Lilibet.

She expressed disappointment that Harry and Meghan were unable to join her for a weekend at Balmoral in August, an annual tradition where the Queen hosts a sleepover for all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Consequently, the monarch only had a few opportunities to see and her namesake, Lilibet.

Reportedly, Harry and Meghan briefly introduced their children to the Queen when they arrived in London ahead of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June.
