Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to Attend Invictus Games in Germany

and are set to travel to Germany in September to attend the Invictus Games in Dusseldorf.

The event, which was founded by , will take place from September 9th to the 16th and will see injured ex-service people compete in various challenging sports events.

According to German newspaper Reich Post, Meghan will have the honor of moderating an emotional farewell show for families and competitors on the final day of the games.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry will deliver the closing speech, bringing the event to a memorable conclusion.

However, not everyone is thrilled about Prince Harry's presence at the Invictus Games.

In a YouTube video, former British Army member Trevor Colt shared that some veterans and others are requesting that Prince Harry stay away from the event.

Colt claims that the reason for Prince Harry's attendance is to receive an award at the closing ceremonies, with Meghan presenting it to him.

Trevor Colt also expressed disappointment that the couple has not made any financial contributions to the Invictus Games.

He questioned why they did not donate the $3 million from their upcoming movie's earnings to support the event.

Additionally, he referred to Archwell's financial statement, which showed approximately $10 million in remaining donations at the end of 2020, and wondered why none of that money had been given to the Invictus Project.

One concerned royal fan took matters into their own hands and wrote a letter to Invictus, questioning Prince Harry's involvement and contributions to veterans in the past year.

The fan suggested that the couple's association with the games could have unintended consequences, such as reduced interest and donations.

They proposed the idea of featuring a previous winner as the face of Invictus for future games, highlighting their personal journey and dedication to success after injury.

Critics on social media also voiced their dissatisfaction with Meghan attending the Invictus Games.

One Twitter user accused her of making it all about herself, while another called the couple “self-serving arseholes.”

They argued that the focus should be on the wounded veterans who have worked hard to participate in and attend the games, rather than on Prince Harry and Meghan's presence.

Amidst the mixed reactions, some even speculated that Prince Harry and Meghan may face boos from the audience at the Invictus Games.

However, the couple remains committed to supporting the event and showcasing their dedication to charitable causes.

As the Invictus Games draw closer, it remains to be seen how Prince Harry and Meghan's attendance will be received by the public and whether their presence will overshadow the incredible stories of resilience and determination exhibited by the competitors.
