Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis Receive Unique Gift Ahead of Coronation
In anticipation of the upcoming coronation this spring, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis have been presented with a very special gift.
The three young royals are set to make an appearance during the ceremony, and to mark the occasion, they have each received a copy of the new children's book titled “The King's Pants” before their much-anticipated debut.
Expressing their gratitude, the office of Prince William and Princess Kate sent a kind email to author Nicholas Allen, thanking him for the thoughtful gesture and informing him that the children thoroughly enjoyed the book.
“The King's Pants” is a delightful and humorous story centered around the king and his favorite pair of underwear.
This new addition joins Nicholas' other book with a royal theme, “The Queen's Knickers,” which coincidentally celebrates its 30th anniversary this year.
In a nod to the forthcoming historic event, even Nicholas' book mentions coronation pants.
Scheduled to be published on April 6, it seems like the perfect time for “The King's Pants” to make its long-awaited debut.
According to the author, the book had been written many years ago and had remained tucked away at the bottom of his drawer until now.
As plans for the coronation unfold, it has been revealed that Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis will have an active role in the proceedings.
On May 6, the three children of the Prince and Princess of Wales are expected to march in the procession alongside their parents, captivating the public with their presence.
Speculation had been rife about whether Prince Louis would join his older siblings for the event, and now it has been confirmed.
Prince George, who is next in line to the throne after his father, will celebrate his 8th birthday just a few days before the coronation.
It is not uncommon for Prince George and Princess Charlotte, aged 9 and 7 respectively, to accompany their parents to royal engagements.
In fact, they were present at the late Queen's burial in September, accompanying their mother.
However, Prince Louis, who will turn 5 in a month, was not in attendance on that occasion.
