Prince Andrew Spotted in Windsor Amid Ghislaine Maxwell’s Sentencing

, the disgraced Duke of York, was seen looking glum and contemplative while driving his Range Rover around Windsor.

This sighting comes just a day before the sentencing of British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell, who is involved in the Jeffrey Epstein scandal, in New York.

has been kept away from public life ever since he was accused of s**ual assault in connection with convicted pedophile Epstein.

According to Express UK, the 60-year-old prince has missed out on several major royal events recently due to his involvement with Epstein and the ongoing s** case against him.

Meanwhile, Maxwell, a close associate of Epstein, was convicted of s** trafficking in December after a month-long trial.

Four women provided evidence in court, alleging that they were abused by Epstein with Maxwell's assistance.

While other senior members of the royal family are in Scotland for Holyrood week, Prince Andrew remains in Windsor.

, who has reduced her public engagements due to mobility issues, attended the historic ceremony of the Quays at the Palace of Holyrood House earlier today.

Prince Charles, , , and Sophie have also traveled to Scotland for various events this week.

However, Prince Andrew no longer carries out public duties and will not be involved.

The Duke of York stepped back from royal duties in 2019 following his disastrous Newsnight interview regarding his friendship with Epstein.

His reputation suffered greatly after his involvement in a civil s**ual assault case brought against him in the US by Virginia Giuffre.

Despite denying the allegations, Andrew reached a settlement earlier this year, although it was not an admission of guilt.

Earlier this month, there were reports that Prince Andrew wanted to make a royal comeback.

He expressed a desire to have his royal status reinstated, recognized, and respected.

However, he was forced to remain out of sight on Garter Day, as a family decision was made to limit his appearance to a behind-the-scenes lunch and investiture ceremony.

While other senior royals participated in a church service commemorating the Order of the Garter at Windsor Castle, Andrew stayed behind closed doors.

Royal expert Joe Little speculates that the events of Garter Day may cause Prince Andrew to reassess his future and the impossibility of returning as a working royal.

Little believes that the decision to ban Andrew from public view is a sensible one, as it reflects the public's opinion of the Duke of York's conduct.

It appears to be a damage limitation exercise on behalf of senior members of the royal family.

As Prince Andrew's involvement in the Epstein scandal continues to overshadow his public image, the future remains uncertain for the disgraced Duke.

The ongoing legal proceedings and public scrutiny make it increasingly challenging for him to regain his former status as a working member of the royal family.
