Piers Morgan Exposes Meghan’s Connection to Phone Hacking Scandal
In a shocking revelation, Piers Morgan has accused Meghan Markle of hiring Omid Scobie, an intern at Mirror Group, to hack Prince Harry's phone.
This comes in response to the recent ruling by the High Court that confirmed Prince Harry as a victim of phone hacking by Mirror Group newspapers.
The court also accepted evidence suggesting that Morgan was aware of journalists engaging in phone hacking during his tenure as editor of the Daily Mirror.
Previously, Morgan had vehemently denied any involvement in phone hacking.
Speaking to the press outside his London home, he addressed the judgment, stating, “A judge in the High Court in London has ruled on various cases, including Prince Harry's claim against Mirror Group newspapers, where I was an editor until 2004.
The judgment finds that there's just one article relating to the prints published by the Daily Mirror during my entire tenure as editor and this may have involved some unlawful information gathering.
To be clear, I had then, and still have now, zero knowledge of how that particular story was gathered.”
Morgan emphasized that all other claims against the Daily Mirror under his leadership were rejected.
He firmly asserted, “I have never hacked a phone or told anyone else to hack a phone.
Nobody's produced any actual evidence to prove that I did.”
Furthermore, Morgan highlighted that he was not called as a witness nor asked to provide any statement in the case.
He expressed willingness to cooperate had he been given the opportunity.
The former Good Morning Britain star also revealed that he had not been in communication with the Mirror Group's lawyers throughout the process.
He expressed frustration at being unable to respond to false allegations made against him in court, which were left unchallenged by Mirror Group counsel.
Morgan raised concerns about the credibility of Omid Scobie, who had worked as an intern under him at the Mirror Group and had allegedly lied about Morgan's involvement in hacking Prince Harry's phone.
Scobie is currently associated with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Morgan pointed out that Meghan had previously maintained a friendly relationship with him, even sending him advanced copies of the TV show “Suits.”
This raises suspicions that both Meghan and Scobie might be involved in the hacking of Harry's phone.
Morgan criticized the judge for believing the testimonies of Scobie and Alastair Campbell, whom he referred to as proven liars.
He questioned the judge's decision to trust Scobie's evidence, given his history of falsehoods.
Additionally, Morgan accused Prince Harry of hypocrisy, claiming that his outrage at media intrusion into the royal family's private lives is matched by his own ruthless and greedy behavior.
Morgan highlighted Harry's public criticism of his own family, even during times of personal loss, all for financial gain.
In conclusion, Morgan expressed his disbelief at the actions of Meghan, Harry, and Scobie, suggesting that they failed to anticipate the consequences of their actions.
He hinted at potential legal repercussions for Scobie, as his book has failed to gain support and Migraine, a reference to Meghan, is no longer backing him.
Morgan concluded by questioning their lack of foresight, considering their affinity for court cases and their failure to read the room.
