Piers Morgan Criticizes Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Attendance at King Charles II’s Coronation
Controversial broadcaster Piers Morgan has once again expressed his disapproval of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, this time regarding their decision to attend the upcoming coronation of King Charles II.
Known for his frequent criticisms of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Morgan did not hold back in sharing his thoughts on the matter.
During a recent episode of Piers Morgan Uncensored on Talk TV, the 57-year-old did not hesitate to make a swipe at the couple.
Referring to their recent announcement that their children would be styled as Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, despite previously advocating for a normal life for them, Morgan commented, “I'd make them sit in the 10th row, right behind Prince Andrew.
So when the world's cameras focus on them, all they see is their little heads peering around Andrew.
I actually think King Charles shouldn't have invited them.
Why invite a couple of individuals who have been attacking every member of your family?”
Morgan also questioned the decision of the California-based couple to use titles for their children, despite previously likening being part of the House of Windsor to living in a prison.
He remarked, “They kept telling the world how bad the royal family is.
It's a prison camp and all the royals want to get away from it.
But now they want to give their kids titles?
They don't live anywhere near the royal family, they don't have any duties, and they reside in a mansion in California.”
Adding to the criticism, Russell Myers, associate editor at the Mirror, highlighted the couple's financial gain from their negative portrayal of the royal family.
Morgan expressed his frustration, calling it “rank hypocrisy” on their part.
During the show, Morgan also disputed Meghan's claim that a member of the royal family had made racist comments about her unborn son, Prince Archie.
Reflecting on her allegations during the Oprah interview, he stated, “There was no racism,” with former BBC royal correspondent Michael Cole agreeing, “No, none at all.
That was quite shameful at the time.”
Morgan strongly asserted that Meghan's statement was a “complete lie.”
As always, Morgan encouraged viewers to share their thoughts in the comments section, inviting them to weigh in on the latest news surrounding the royal family.
He concluded by thanking the audience for their continued support and promised to return with more captivating updates about the royals.
In summary, Piers Morgan has once again criticized Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, this time regarding their attendance at King Charles II's coronation.
Morgan expressed his disapproval of their decision and questioned their motives behind styling their children as Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
He also called out their alleged hypocrisy and disputed Meghan's claims of racism within the royal family.
