Former Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan has issued a challenge to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for a face-to-face interview.
Speaking on Spencer Matthews' Big Fish podcast, Morgan expressed his desire to engage in a showdown with the couple, who have been the subject of his criticism since their bombshell claims in interviews, docuseries, and Prince Harry's book Spare.
During the podcast, Morgan made a scathing remark about Prince Harry, stating, “I think he's completely deluded.
Very manipulative.
I mean, they're as bad as each other, to be honest with you, and I think that he genuinely believes he can do all this.”
However, a source close to the Sussexes revealed that they have no intention of entering into a new war with the host, as it would only negatively impact the ratings of the show.
Piers Morgan's criticism of the couple began with their initial public accusations against the royal family.
His denouncement of Meghan's mental health claims led to an outcry from fans of Good Morning Britain, ultimately resulting in his departure from the show.
On March 9th, 2021, Morgan dramatically stormed off the set after being called out by co-star Alex Beresford for his comments towards Meghan, leading to his resignation.
