Photoshopped Feud: Petra Nemcova and Megan Markle Clash Over Chopard Deal

In a surprising turn of events, a feud has emerged between supermodel Petra Nemcova and the Duchess of Sussex, Megan Markle, over a Chopard deal.

The conflict began when Nemcova accused Markle of photoshopping a picture to make herself look better than the model.

This revelation sheds light on the strained relationship between the two women.

Every year, in celebration of the Cannes Film Festival, Caroline Chevalier, co-president and artistic director of Chopard, unveils a red carpet high jewellery collection.

This year, the collection consisted of 72 unique pieces, each representing a year of the festival's existence.

Love served as the theme for these exquisite jewels.

As an ambassador for the brand, Nemcova had the honor of presenting the new Chopard collection in Cannes.

She shared an illustrated book of the jewellery, which depicted a beautiful lady's journey of falling in love.

The pages showcased extravagant necklaces adorned with emeralds and sapphires, opal-shaped earrings and brooches, and stunning pink diamond rings.

Interestingly, a photo surfaced showing Nemcova and Markle together at a social event prior to Markle's marriage to .

However, sources suggest that their relationship was not as close as it may have appeared.

In fact, the real reason behind Nemcova's refusal to attend the royal wedding was due to their lack of a close bond.

The feud between Nemcova and Markle escalated when it was discovered that Markle had retouched a photo of the two to enhance her own appearance.

This act further strained their relationship, resulting in Nemcova being excluded from future collaborations with Chopard and the royal collections.

Another factor contributing to the tension between Markle and Chopard is the controversy surrounding a pair of diamond earrings gifted to her by a Saudi prince.

These extravagant earrings were purchased with what some consider “inhuman money” by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

Michael Eisner, the chief operating officer of Democracy for the Arab World Now, expressed his surprise that Markle wore these earrings to a state dinner without being aware of their connection to the high-profile crime case involving journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

According to royal protocol, gifts from foreign heads of state are considered Crown property.

However, wedding gifts given to senior royals are theirs to keep.

Despite the controversy surrounding the earrings, Markle still possesses them, as they were accepted as a wedding gift during the Crown Prince's visit to London.

The clash between Nemcova and Markle over the Chopard deal and the controversy surrounding the diamond earrings has created a rift between the two women.

It remains to be seen whether they can reconcile their differences in the future.

For now, the feud continues to captivate the public's attention, shining a spotlight on the world of high-profile collaborations and the complexities of royal protocol.
