Peter Leads Carriage Procession at Royal Ascot Alongside Prince Charles and Camilla
In a spectacular display of regal elegance, Peter, the Queen's eldest grandchild, took center stage at Royal Ascot as he led the first carriage procession since 2019.
Dressed in a dashing dark grey suit and a top hat, Peter shared the carriage with none other than Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall.
The trio exuded grace and sophistication as they made their way through the racecourse.
Not to be outdone in the fashion department, Camilla donned a stunning turquoise dress, complemented by a hat adorned with delicate floral decorations.
The combination of her attire and radiant smile added an extra touch of glamour to the proceedings.
Joining Peter's mother, Princess Anne, in the first carriage were Lord de Morley, the Queen's Master of the Horse, as well as William Nunnerley and Caroline Nunnerley, one of Anne's ladies-in-waiting.
The second carriage was graced by four of Her Majesty's cousins, namely the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, along with Prince and Princess Michael of Kent.
Their presence added a touch of familial warmth to the occasion, as they shared in the joyous atmosphere of the event.
Completing the procession was the fourth carriage, occupied by the Earl and Countess of Hopeton, Tom Hopper, and Lady Alexandra Hopper, who happens to be Princess Diana's goddaughter.
Their inclusion further enhanced the grandeur of the procession as it passed by the racecourse's parade ring, where eager racegoers had been gathering since noon.
Among the distinguished members of the royal family in attendance were Sophie, Countess of Wessex, and Princess Beatrice, accompanied by her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.
